You refered to an infectious disease that spread through the world and reaped millions of lives as a mere sniffle. In effect, what you are saying is that millions of people died due to sniffles. That is very disrepectful because it trivializes what killed them.

A lot of families were ruined because of those deaths, and many more would have been if not for the massive efforts taken. The economic hardships pale in comparison to that.

Of course there is. Your claim that people who died from COVID, died from "a sniffle" which is not only inaccurate, but also disrespectful. COVID wasn't a "sniffle," especially in the beginning when people were being hooked up to ventilators to stay alive.
