Some faiths seem to concentrate on man's depravity. They seek to instill a sense of fear and unworthyness.

On the negative side, those sects that emphasize sin, man's natural depravity and the danger of perdition could probably be ruled out of the contest.

Well, thats up for discoussion. Virgin sacrifices, orgys, blood rituals, and other forms of debauchery might get some people off, you never know.

You're definately right, Judaism is a very fun religion, with in my opinion, a few strings attached - like being kosher. Jews do know how to party.:jam:

UUs like to have fun, and I'd doubt we could be part of a religion that wasn't fun at least some of the time. :jiggy:We know how to party and have a good time.

That said, being a UU is also sometimes very hard and challenging. One should not join UU if they think it's just going to be all fun and no hard work.

Paganism sounds the most fun to me. Dancing naked , jumping over fire pits, making stuff out of twigs and sticks, talking to animals and just freaking out christians!!

Well, perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned it. But it is a pet peeve of mine. People thinking that we're all just fun and games and dancing around a chalice with flowers in our hair waving a rainbow flag. Being a UU sometimes calls us to do hard things, to stand up for what believe in, and that's not always easy and it sometimes even scary and dangerous. But I wouldn't trade it for anything.
