I know exactly what you talking about. I used to be Catholic.

On the negative side, those sects that emphasize sin, man's natural depravity and the danger of perdition could probably be ruled out of the contest.
You're definately right, Judaism is a very fun religion, with in my opinion, a few strings attached - like being kosher. Jews do know how to party.:jam:jewscout said:Judaism definetly!
"If the road will be too lng for you, so that you cannot carry it, because the place that HaShem your G-d, will choose to place His Name there is far from you, for HaShem, your G-d, will have blessed you - then you may exchange it for money, wrap up the money in your hand, and go to the place that HaShem, your G-d, will choose. You may spend the money for whatever your soul desires - for cattle, for flocks, for wine, or for alcoholic beverage, or anything that your soul wishes; you shall eat it there before HaShem, your G-d, and rejoice - you and your household."
Deut. 14:24-26
a religion all about celebrating THIS life!

Hey, freaking out Konservative Kristians is a hobby for me. A friend of mine called me on it this weekend... he said "the only reason why you hang out on the internet forums is to give conservatives a hard time." I had to sheepishly admit the truth. :jam:Majikthise said:Paganism sounds the most fun to me. Dancing naked , jumping over fire pits, making stuff out of twigs and sticks, talking to animals and just freaking out christians!!
But seriously, pagans are the most easy going ,life enjoying people I've met. I like em'!:bounce
Well, perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned it. But it is a pet peeve of mine. People thinking that we're all just fun and games and dancing around a chalice with flowers in our hair waving a rainbow flag. Being a UU sometimes calls us to do hard things, to stand up for what believe in, and that's not always easy and it sometimes even scary and dangerous. But I wouldn't trade it for anything.Darkdale said:I like to hear that. Good for you.

A "fun" religion matters not...
I didn't forget!! You caught the pun perfectly!! :clapThe Grey Wolf said:You forgot to add another "K" word. Like... "Kreepy Konservitive Kristians".
