The Religious Right's New Target: Transgender People

Tell that to the neo-cons.

I'm telling it to you because you're the one who did it.

You, like other liberals I've met, have no problem with "group guilt". If one person is guilty in a group, you blame all other members, and in the case of Sarah, since she's conservative, it's natural for you to call her a childish name despite not having a valid reason.

Sadly, when people like Bristol Palin are also targeted by the animosity of liberals, YOU fail to defend her as well. I don't know what moral values you pretend to have, but they obviously don't include tolerance or basic levels of respect for your fellow man.

Liberals don't like Palin for her political views. I know that's sometimes a hard concept for conservatives to grasp, always going for the idea that every time a liberal disagrees with a conservative, it's a personal attack. And, in that case, yes, she's an idiot. I just call it how I see it, if that's too much for you, then I don't know what to tell you.

If it were political, you would have refrained from calling her an idiot.

This is why I use Palin as a litmus test. As a liberal, you express hatred first and disagreement second (and usually only to hide your embarassment at being caught in the act).

Caught in what act? I've said it twice already, and I'll say it a third time: Palin is an idiot. If I were so ashamed of it, I wouldn't keep saying, I'd be trying to hide it. The reason why disagreement comes second, is because the argument has gotten old. Face it, Palin is just like all the other Tea Party politicians: extreme right-wing fascists, who only care about their own agenda, which is money and power. Unfortunately, like I've said before, Democrats are the same way. This is the American system. Money and power are supreme, and life, freedom, and equality don't even take a back seat, they're completely thrown by the wayside. It's just that conservatives are a bit more vocal about their views, and try to hide it less.

You're point in this thread is what? To "catch liberals" in some act that you find wrong? Point that finger back around at conservatives, and see what you come up with. I spent most of my life as a conservative, and when I decided to actually think about what they were doing instead of just agreeing with it because that's what was expected of me, I was shocked, to say the least. Keep up with your games, if you wish. Logic was never the stronghold of conservatism. Dark Ages, here we come. :)

It never surprises me that a liberal is willing to stake out the moral low ground. I see it every day, and you've given me just the nth iteration.

I find it fascinating studying the parallels between European anti-Semitism in the 1900s, the so-called "social democrats" and American/European liberals.

They, too, found entertainment in targeting and destroying other human beings, and they unapologetically defended themselves as quickly as you did. I don't believe for a second you think she's an idiot on your own. I think you were told to believe that, and you obeyed. They, like you, also tried to hide behind "it's just a political disagreement".

So judging a person's political stances, and not liking them for it, is immoral? Oh, the irony...again. Moral low ground? You have to be kidding. And before you judge me as a social democrat, you may be interested to know that I'm a Green Anarchist. So try again, and this time, with a little less judgementalism.

You called her an idiot, and you're not man enough to admit that your treatment of women is barbaric.

One can agree Sarah Palin is an Idiot without being sexist. For example I think Bush is also an Idiot. The majority of congress both democrat and republican. I find Obama to be an Idiot as well. He hides it better than Bush did but he is an idiot none the less.

Sarah is one of the most successful women in American history. "Dolt" ? That's your sexist view peaking through. Dumb women jokes are old. You need new material.

Being a rather poor politician and getting on TV does not make you "one of the most successful women in American history".

And the limit of Phil Robertson's hate was to say "I prefer a va.... over a man's a...."

You know very well what he said, and I know the full quote. So don't try to lie to me.

You've been suckered by your sources, and you weren't smart enough to realize it.

Ooh, hypocrisy.
