The Seven Days of the Creation, Scripturally

Dear Readers, Here is the chronology of the 7 Days or Ages of Creation of the THIRD Heaven:.

Before the first Day, God created air and ground without form and darkness/death was upon everything He had made, so God said: Let there be Light. Gen 1:1-2
Day 1- Jesus came forth into the physical world to defeat the death which was upon everything God had made. His Image is brighter than the Noonday Sun. Gen 1:3
Day 2- Jesus made a firmament or boundary of Adam's world and placed it in the midst or middle of the Water, and God called it "heaven". Gen 1:6-8
Day 3- Jesus made Adam's Earth and another two HeavenS, but before He made the plants, He made man of the dust of the ground. Gen 2:4-7
Day 4- The first Stars of our 2nd Heaven put forth their light into our Cosmos, which began as the Big Bang, on the 3rd Day Gen 2:4
Day 5- Every living creature that moves was created and brought forth from the water by the TRINITY, on the 5th Day. Gen 1:21
Day 6- Jesus makes the beasts of the field and birds, Adam names them, and then Jesus makes Eve. Adam sins and is cast from the Garden. A&E have two sons and Cain kills Abel. Then God speaks AGAIN. Let US make man in OUR Image. Gen 1:26 and Gen 5:1-2 Adam and Eve were BOTH "created in God's Image" or In Christ. They were born again Spiritually, just as ALL of mankind MUST be born again in order to inherit the Third Heaven, the object of the 6 Creative Days.

This brings us up to the present TIME, today, 2014 for God is STILL creating Adam (Heb-mankind) in His Image or in Christ, TODAY.

The end of the present 6th Day is in the Future because the events of Gen 1:28-31 are Prophecy of things which will not happen until AFTER Jesus returns to this Earth at the end of the present 6th Day. Isaiah 11 tells us that AFTER Jesus returns the Lion will eat Straw like the Ox. Isa 11:7 Has everyone heard that the Lion will lay down by the Lamb when Jesus returns? Now, you know that it will happen TODAY, on the present 6th Age. The 7th Day or God's rest is FUTURE. Heb 4:9

The above is what Genesis is actually teaching about the Creation of the Third Heaven where ALL Christians will live forever on the 7th Day, because the 7th Day is Eternity and has NO end and NO evening.. Comments? God Bless you.

What you have written is the reason that we should have complete trust in God and not men, Pr 3:5,6, Ps 146:3,4, Jere 17:5, 17:7.
When a man reads a few scriptures and then tries to understand God's word, he is doing, what is known as, Doping Out. Mankind is so limited in his knowledge and thinking ability that he cannot even expect to produce sensible information. That is why the Bible tells us to have trust in God.
If you truly want to understand the message written in God's word, you must stop the silly ideas you have expressed.
Read Pr 2:1-10, and 1Thes 5:17, 1Cor 2:6-10. If you pray incessantly for God's spirit, you will learn the deep thing of God!! Of course that is also determined by your heart condition, Dan 12:10, Matt 13:13-15, Matt 12:31-34, Mark 7:20-23.
There are, what is called Learned Professions in learning today, Law, Medical, Religion. These all take many years of sincere study and research to even be close to proficient in either of these professions.
Instead of trying to be complete facetious, if you truly want to understand God's word, start by asking thoughtful Questions. The best way to study by yourself, is to study doctrines topically!!!

As I read it....firmament is an item without form....
the earth (ground) is something else pending.

God did not make the earth lifeless and empty. it became that way. the first day described in Genesis is when God began re-making the earth after it became lifeless and void.

Dear jtartar, I agree that it makes more sense to go by what the Bible actually says, instead of what the traditional view teaches. This is because the traditional religious view does NOT agree either Scripturally, Scientifically, nor Historically.

Not so fast. First, you must show that the events of the 6th Day are over. This means that EVERY living creature has already become a Vegetarian as Gen 1:30 clearly shows. Since this event has NEVER happened, and will NOT happen until after Jesus returns to this Earth at the end of time, the present 6th Day continues.

Most people believe the world is only 6k years old because of the Flawed thinking of ancient Jewish theologians who lived thousands of years BEFORE Science. Archbishop James Ussher also agreed with the ancient theologians because he falsely assumed that they were correct. Are you Jewish?

The idea that Adam and Eve could fill the Earth with perfect people who obeyed God, is False. This is clear when you read the verse which shows that the LORD was Crucified from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:8 IOW, God KNEW that Adam would sin BEFORE He made him. Correct?

UnScriptural, since our Earth will be BURNED. ll Peter 3:10

Sorry, but this fails to explain the THIRD Heaven, ll Corinthians 12:2 the New Heaven and New Earth, Revelation 21:1 where all Christians will live AFTER the present sin filled Earth, the world which Crucified Jesus, is burned. Are you a Mormon or a Jehovah Witness? God Bless you.

Aman777,
I really appreciate your statements, but you must remember, the Bible is Univocal, it tells ONE story. If what I say, or what anyone says, does not agree with ALL the scriptures, we are wrong. All scripture is related, Intertextuality!!!
You have said so many things, that it is difficult to answer all. If you really want to know truth, ask a couple of questions and I will answer. You must realize that you must have praecognita on some of these things or the truth will not make sense to you. Remember the truth is very different than what most people believe. People telling the truth about Bible doctrines would be overturning strongly believed things, 2Cor 10:4,5. Please do not let strongly entrenched, inveterate things stumble you from believing the truth of God's word. It takes. Much study, even lucubration to fully understand.
Everything that God created during the six creative days were vegetarian. Only after the flood did God tell mankind that they could eat meat, Gen 9:3,4. Gen 1:30 says that to all living things He gave vegetation as food. This was before the flood, and it will be that way again, after the return of Jesus as King.
As for the Hexameron, the six days of creation. Most people believe that we are living in the last days of this old system of things. This last day, the seventh day, would reasonably be the same length as the first six. The Bible tells us that the last thousand years of this Last day, the seventh, will be The Judgment Day, Rev 20:1-3. These scriptures and the verses 4-10 tell us about the time when Satan is bound up, in the Abyss, so he is unable to influence mankind, during the thousand years. There are thrones, which will be for people who were taken to heaven to rule with Jesus during the thousand years. They will rule over people on earth who came through The Great Tribulation, Rev 7:14, and the ones that are being resurrected back to earth, a great crowd, Rev 7:9, John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15. t the end of the thousand years Satan will be released out of the Abyss to try to mislead the people who will have reached perfection, as Adam was. This will be the last test for mankind, after which they, who pass this test will be granted everlasting life, and Satan will then be thrown into the Lake of Fire, the second death, Rev 20:7-17, 4-6, Rev 21:1-5, Rom 8:17, Rev 5:10, 14:1-5.

You can't support this.

Thief,
A person who claims to understand the Bible, can prove almost anything to a person who only has a nodding acquaintance, with the Scriptures, or they are Terra Incognita to him.
To a person who knows how to work on automobiles, when talking to someone who has no experience in working on autos, can tell him most anything about his car, and he may believe it. How long though, do you think it would take a master mechanic to tell if he really knew what he was talking about???
I have studied the Bible for over 50 years, it takes me about a minute to tell if a person really understands the Holy Scriptures.
As I said before, The Holy Scriptures tell one story!!! If a person says something that does not fit with all the scriptures, I recognize that in a heartbeat. You see, there are so many things in the Bible, if a person talking about one doctrine, but does not take into consideration how this doctrine fits with that one, I know in an instant.
The Holy Scriptures are Sententious, meaning, they are filled with wisdom and Knowledge, and everything, ALL scripture is related to ALL other Scripture, so if a person shows a scripture that seems to prove a doctrine, and it does not agree with ALL Scripture, his explanation is wrong.
As I said before, many people look up one or two scriptures, then they believe they understand the doctrine, but there may be other Scriptures that modify, qualify, or complement the Scripture, which can change what the scriptures seemed to say, in one place.
Scripture that cannot be changed are called, Concrete Scripture, Categorematic Scripture. Very few Scriptures fit his category, most Scripture are Textual Scripture, or Syncategorical, which means you MUST look up ALL Scripture that pertains to any doctrine, even circumstantial Scripture. If you do not understand all the Scriptures that pertain to a doctrine, I know, immediately, that you do not know the doctrine completely.
Remember, there are only three branches of knowledge that are called, LEARNED Professions. They are Law, Medicial, and Religion. With each of these, it takes many years to be really knowledgeable in any of these.
What is really comical, is the truth that, the least amount a person knows about Religion, the more he is ready to argue
about his understanding, sciolists, Superficialists, are the firs to argue.
I consider myself to be a Polemic, an aggressive defender of Bible truth.

The devil knows the scriptures.....old book....new book.....the Torah.....whatever....
He knows the prophets and their sayings.....all of them....

but for whatever the devil may know of scripture....he does not live in heaven
so most believe.

and he will use the scripture to distract and mislead you....even to the point your soul would perish.

You're not trying to thump that book in my face.....are you?

The seven day creation story is a metaphor in my opinion, they are levels of consciousness, the seventh day is the rest in God, its the highest Consciousness, the rest in God is when we are One with all there IS, it is beyond the mind. Far too many are arguing over the literal meaning, and completely over looking the truth with the words, literalism blinds one from seeing the truth.

psychoslice,
If you want to be pleasing to God, you must believe what The Bible says!!! Truly, there are places where the Bible has metaphors, it also speaks in hyperbole, and litotes, but not in Genesis. The seven days of creation are a fact! Each day God did many things that, first prepared the earth for man, and then tell about the beginning of mankind, the mandate that God gave Adam, Gen 1:26-28. The Bible then tells about the fall of mankind into sin and death, Gen 2:17, 3:1-6, 15-19. No other book on earth has the true story of why we are in the condition we find ourselves in, and also the hope we have, as stated in Gen 3:15.
Things got too corrupt for God to allow the continuation of the evil on earth, so He brought about a flood, to cleanse the earth, and allow a new start for mankind.
Remember how many arks there were?? ONE!!! Today, there is one religion on earth that God is blessing, Eph 4:4-6, Acts 2:21, 15:14,17.
There are now, and have been over the centuries, who claim to be critics of God's word, but everyone go them, who have denied what the Bible says, have had to eat crow, sooner or later.
God has given us a promise that He would protect His word from men, throughout the generations, Ps 12:6,7, John 17:17, 1Pet 1:25. It is God's purpose to judge this world, by what His word says, Rom 3:5.6. God always judges righteously, and never wickedly, Job 34:10,12, Deut 32:4,5.
The Bible warns about ridiculers, 2Pet 3:3,4. If we are wise we will do research, to find the truth of God's word, Pr 2:1-10. We all must use the time we have left in this old world wisely, and consider this time as God's patience, for He does not want to destroy anyone, 2Pet 3:7, 9,10,15.
Remember, there is NO salvation in men, Ps 146:3,4, so do not put trust in what men say, but put your trust in God and His word, Jere 17:5, 7, Pr 3:5,6, 1Pet 1:25.
God is a loving Father to all who love Him, Pr 8:17, He does all things for our own good, Isa 48:17, 55:6-11.
