The U. S. and western culture would not like the perception also, if they would feel that they are not being forced to follow Taliban culture, and that they are being told and 'coerced' to. Economic persuasion is telling the religious Christian or Muslim, that those who don't need to believe in God, for their very reasonable causes, are telling religious people that their irrational beliefs are a waste of time, to whom it must not and should not matter, in the first place. The issue with the religious, Vs. the agnostic and the atheist is that materialism is seen to be impeded by the religious, and what is referred to as spiritual belief is seen to be the cause of people not being materialistic the way they want to. Has any person felt bad, because their internet connection is disabled for any reason, and when the connection was supposed to be uninterrupted? According to the spiritual person, the materialist would say, that this is an act of 'nuisance' committed by the spiritual person, at the same time, blaming the same spiritual person, and for no cause of his. To the spiritual person, the materialist enters into debate for no reason of religion.
I don't mind agreeing with a person, when he says he is an atheist. The whole point is, in Hinduism, God is also an atheist, because he doesn't believe in himself. I don't mind and would also agree with a person, only for himself, completely, if he said, I didn't believe in God. I mean, why should a materialist and spiritualist feel that the other has no business to be considerate about the one's interests, for no rhyme, nor reason, otherwise?

you attempted to go right to the core of the debate but thats not what it is about ..its so perplexing how innocent lives are being weighed with a pile of stone as a 'valid concern' by the western community (or whatever they call themselves) for 'preserving' the heritage of a country while they are, and have destroyed most of it themselves.
