The Trump Effect & The New Democrats

Our conversation was about your comment that 44,909,889 voted for [Bill Clinton] after the scandal broke.

I clearly showed that the scandal did not "break" to the general public until after the election. That's when you started tap dancing, poorly.

On the other hand, 62,984,828 voted for Trump after:
Trump denigrated John McCain.
He denigrated a handicapped reporter.
He belittled each of his opponents with names like "Little Marco" and "Crooked Cruz".
Trump bragged he grabbed women by the crotch.
Trump denigrated a Silver Star family.

I think that's more than enough to show there is a vast difference between Democrats acceptance of Bill Clinton and Trump supporters not caring anything about the lack of morals of Donald Trump.
That's not lack of morals... it's called "character", something the bandwagon Trump haters know little about.

If I stay on topic, you accuse me of beating a dead horse.

But, hypocritically, you accuse me of deflecting...

Since you're conflicted, I'll stay on topic.

Goody for you. Do you feel the same about Brietbart? How about
Triggered, the Federalist Radio Hour, Sean Spicer's Everything's going to be alright, Benson and Harf?
Given that Trump is the only one who is President of the United States, nope, I just vilify him. Oh, and his sheeples.
That's nice.

That's not lack of morals... it's called "character", something the bandwagon Trump haters know little about.
That's a good example of a Sheeplism.

For one thing, it shows you have a poor command of the English language.

char·ac·ter
/ˈkerəktər/
noun
  1. 1.
the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.
mor·al
/ˈmôrəl/
noun
plural noun: morals

  1. 2.
a person's standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for them to do.

Also, it shows you believe that your morals, your character, is better than that of people who do not support. That you are wrong is obvious from the facts:
Donald Trump lies constantly
People of good character do not support liars.
People of poor character accept lying as something acceptable.
You support Donald Trump.
I do not support Donald Trump.
Therefore my level of morality is demonstrably better than yours.

I think they prefer to be called "sheeple".
(They use the term so much.)

You really need to pay attention. "Sheeple" is a term I ascribe to Trump supporters who, like little sheep, blindly follow the Trump lead regardless of which lie and sewer he spouts.

To try to use it to describe people who oppose Trump makes no sense.

From urbandictionary.com.....
Your definition is far too narrow.
"People unable to think for themselves. Followers. Lemmings. Those with no cognitive ablilities of their own."
To try to use it to describe people who oppose Trump makes no sense.
For Trump haters still agonizing over Hillary's loss, & lashing out at him
& voters, the term applies well to them. They follow the leaders of their
echo chamber without question, eg, NYT. You'll notice how they cannot
post in this thread without deflection & derailment.

Gawd, this can be fun.

Are the "Trump haters", of which I am not one of them, any less than lemmings than are the "Hillary haters"?

Almost no one will admit to being a "hater".
But they exist in vast numbers, so many deniers are one.
Look at their language....is it rife with insults & severe personal
criticism for both Trump & voters or supporters? That's hatred.

The only one I noticed ducking and dodging and deflecting is you. That's clear to anyone who has been following this thread.

One of your favorite tactics for ducking and dodging and deflecting is posting irrelevant one-liners.

Still not convinced, dear reader? Just look at his post count. Over 35 well thought out posts a day. Every day. For almost 10 years.

Trump lovers - sheeples - have one leader whom they follow, Trump.

Trump haters do not have a leader to follow. Any correlation to sheelples or lemmings just doesn't work.

We're just individuals who love many different things. We are driven by a broad common cause, our disgust for the crude, uneducated, egomaniacal boor who the sheeples elected believing that Mexico would pay for a wall separating our two countries,

You say "hatred". I say "disgust". If my language is rife with insult and severe personal
criticism for both Trump & voters or supporters, that's because of my disgust.

Trying to rally some allies to come to your rescue, eh?
You're taking this way too personally.

Using near synonyms (nearonyms?) is still hatred.
And directing continual animosity & insult towards
individuals & groups is evidence thereof.

There are plenty of reasonable & friendly people who
dislike Trump, & disapprove of (some of) his actions.
But we don't see them hating & being abusive.

Just pointing out the obvious.
You're taking this way too personally.
Not personal at all. I'll always call out duckers and dodgers.

ETA: Ducking and dodging is something you are continuing to do regarding the issue of your false comparison of people who voted for B. Clinton vs D. Trump when there was knowledge of the extensive misdeeds of either. Dems didn't. Repubs did.

If you have a problem with the English language, that's your problem, not mine.
If you don't understand the difference between disgust and hatred, that's your problem, not mine.

Should I praise people for believing in and supporting a lying egomaniac who is damaging this country? I don't think so.

Perhaps because people who are disgusted with Trump don't all react to same way as Trumps Sheeples do:
What are we gonna build?
A WALL
Who's gonna pay for the wall?
MEXICO

All together now, 1,2, 3...
LOCK HER UP
LOCK HER UP
LOCK HER UP

You do see the difference, don't you?

All haters justify hatred with reasons they believe valid.
They sanitize it by calling it something else.
It's still hatred.
Recognize it by personal animosity, anger, insults, screaming, name calling, chanting, tribalism.
Your quoted posts are rife with this.
And the New Democrats are embracing it.
It prevents warring sides from working together.

It can be overcome.
Many liberals & conservatives do.
- Consciously decide to eschew hate, & recover equanmity.
- Find some merit in one's opponents. There are some common goals.
- Observe that they're diverse. Some are even reasonable.
- Don't let one's tribe dictate one's attitude.

So now you are adding posting pap to your list of methods for ducking and dodging.

Your quoted posts are rife with this.

Aw, have I insulted you by pointing out the difference between hatred and disgust?
Have I insulted you by pointing out that you often prefer posting one-liners to thoughtful comments to boost your post count?
Did I chant Lock Her Up?
What tribalism are you referring to? I guess you see my shared disgust of Trump and his sheeples as tribalism.
Other than referring to you and yours as sheeples, have I called you names? If I recall, you, in one of your sillier moments, tried to apply that term to people like me who abhor Trump.

It can be overcome.
Many liberals & conservatives do.
- Consciously decide to eschew hate, & recover equanmity.
Does that include those at Fox and Breitbart?

- Find some merit in one's opponents.
I don't see that coming from you. You wear the attack dog mask often.

There are some common goals.
- Observe that they're diverse. Some are even reasonable.
I guess you consider it reasonable for Trump to shut down parts of the Government because Rush Limbaugh told him he was acting like a wuss.

- Don't let one's tribe dictate one's attitude.

The only tribal rallies we have seen in the past two years are those led by your Donald J. Trump. We have seen how those tribal rallies dictate the attitudes of the sheeples.
