Hey guys. So, I figured I was like others, in that I'm flabbergasted by Trump's presence at all. So, I'm just really curious as to what the general RF sentiment is about this guy.

Remember, it's an anonymous poll, and your answer can be changed, but you only get one. Do what you do.

Trump is God's punishment on the party of the rich and the stupid.

But I didn't see that option so I didn't vote.

Great candidate! Love the guy. A laugh a minute. I haven't seen such a brouhaha among the normally staid, organized Republicans in... well... I've never seen anything like it.

Just think of the gnashing of teeth and rending of garments should his overwhelming popularity force his nomination.

My man Bernie would be a shoe-in!

Running a country isn't like running a corporation or casino.
Maybe more like managing a co-op.

It's worthwhile, at least for me, to contrast Sanders and Trump:

As for alienation from the system, Trump and Sanders do speak to a disaffection that currently roils most of the world's democracies. But their way of doing it is so radically different. Sanders' candidacy will leave behind policy markers and arguments about the future. Trump's legacy will be almost entirely about himself, which is probably fine with him. http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_28618045/e-j-dionne-jr-what-bernies-moment-does

I decided to look him up on wikipedia to look at his policies rather than all the controversy. Give the guy the benifit of the doubt. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_presidential_campaign,_2016#Political_positions

Sounds like something straight out of dystopian novel; the kind of candidate that would take the US on a psycdellhic journey further down the road to ruin its already on. Voted. 1. and it kind of helps as I'm not a US citizen so can't vote anyways.

(p.s. RF has a centre-left bias so that will affect the outcome of the Poll).

Personally I am sick of the whole Trump thing. At first it was entertaining, and he is probably the best thing that could happen to the Democrats. But still I find the whole situation completely disgusting. Lately it seems the entire election is about the personality flaws of Donald Trump, and I am sick of it.

Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton

Vote DT and take the lesser of two evils. Personally I kind of like the guy. He is already a billionaire businessman, not a politician. He does not have to protect a "political career." He says what he thinks and if you don't like it, oh well. Given the fact that Obama has driven us to the highest national debt in the history of the country, a businessman like DT might be what we need right now.

I would not trust him to balance my checkbook, much less run this country.

Would you trust him in high stress political negotiations? That is one of his glaring weaknesses that sticks out to me.

Heck, forget those big boys, if he keeps it up Mexico might lob a few rocks at him if he comes close again.
To elaborate, it's been a long long time since we had a prez with a good basic understanding of economics.
Trump would likely be good for the economy......unless we spent another few trillions on needless foreign wars.

I mean, would he though? To play devil's advocate, running a business ledger is not quite as complicated as balancing our national budget.
