The Truth About Kundalini

A kundalini awakening has the power of a hundred thousand nuclear bombs, it is irreversible and in some cases you cannot even reincarnate normally after you complete it. If you mess around and awaken your kundalini prematurely, you may be paralyzed from its energy and be bedridden for months if you even manage to survive. You will feel as if the god of lightning has sent 100 bolts of lightning through your body. Those who are not ready will end up in a spiritual kundalini psychosis and may not eat or sleep for weeks. It can be like insanity or a drug experience that never ends. Many people who awaken it in modern society end up in mental hospitals because nobody understands kundalini or the spiritual way to deal with it. For some people Kundalini can even cause you to leave your physical body and be unable to go back inside of it. You may even feel as if you are being electrocuted as your soul is struggling to stay attached to your body. And may the gods help you if there are no magicians in the local area who understand how to help kundalini. This is why some people in the spiritual community have breakdowns, they see things they aren’t ready to see, and they go back to whatever other belief system they had before.

You should also not pay magicians on the internet to awaken your kundalini for you because it would happen naturally if you’re ready, and this is not something you want to rush if it is not meant to happen. Especially if your third eye is not open already. Kundalini does not harm you on the spiritual level, but you will become so spiritual that you will not be able to function in the physical reality due to the extreme energy flowing through you. You will be vulnerable and at best you will feel as if you are high on acid for your entire life. And most people will probably read this and think it’s schizophrenia or some other mental illness, but no. These people with kundalini go to the psychologists, psychiatrists and they never get diagnosed with anything because it does not manifest as illness. In fact, the people with kundalini see the world more clearly than us. They are just not in control of their spiritual experiences because the kundalini energy is so powerful.

Kundalini is not a bad thing you need to avoid, but think of it like the most powerful spiritual tool in existence. Your thoughts manifest instantly, you read people’s minds, you become an operating thetan instantly, and you see the truth of the universe that most people cannot mentally handle from the physical world. We know this on the soul level between our lifetimes, but from a lower mind POV this knowledge can drive people insane or send them down rabbit holes, or at the very least make the current lifetime feel juvenile or redundant.

When you hear people in the spiritual community speak about a kundalini awakening that felt like lightning or they claim to have had multiple, it was most likely a small amount of that energy that leaked from the coccyx of their spine. The full force of Kundalini is so great that even those small amounts are a life changing awakening for those that experience them. In those smaller, more controlled risings of energy, it feels like lava going up a person’s spine. Third eye opening also uses a small amount of kundalini with similar experiences and results. If a kundalini awakening did not completely shift your life and make you a stranger to yourself, it was probably just traces. There’s nothing wrong with that and that is a good thing for the person, but that’s not the same as a full awakening. For the average person, messing with this energy will do more harm than good.

With regard to kundalini, slow but sure wins the race, and I mean really really slow. Thrill seekers need not apply.

I first found warnings about this in the book Path Notes by the late martial artist Glenn Morris. I later had a chance to discuss it with a practitioner of Chinese medicine and she confirmed that it can do great damage.

If there is a mysterious incarnation of being into us of previous life experiences then it cannot be from a tiny place in the spine and must be (I think) more of a whole body experience. Physical reproduction happens very near to the sacrum, so it is (for people living long ago without microscopes) a reasonable but mistaken guess. I think they err in saying that the sacrum is somehow the place, but I do not say that conclusively.

Suppose I extract part of someone's spine and keep it alive in a laboratory, and they continue to live without it separately. Where is their being? Does it remain in the bone? I therefore think it cannot be just in one part or another if we are talking about incarnation. It has to be the entire person, not just a bit of spine.

I don't think its some combination of cells to be preserved in a lab , rather like many things unexplained , is metaphysical / a force.

The Kundalini sickness many people describe, does occur. It may have Spiritual origin, but it manifests as described for some, like bubbling magma or electrical sensations. IMHO the "sickness" is a endocrine / nervous system response to abrupt rewiring, so to speak. Meditation can do this on its own, some substances, and foods, combined with certain meditation practices for certain people, can result in similar physical "symptoms" The nerves coming off the lower spine are very important for the body, so I think things that stress them (such as improper spine posture, specific to the persons physical structure) also often cause such things, as often does eating high protein meals shortly before meditation.
I experienced it for years in meditation, then I tried meditating laying in corpse position, or seated in a normal chair with a rest below spine for posture. That almost totally resolved issue, and then abstaining from meditation for atleast a hour after a meat or dairy meal, resolved the rest.

IME, every practice has its fake gurus. I’ve also seen some pretty bastardized versions of Advaita. Are we to disqualify every practice because of these charlatans?
I have encountered them when seeking to learn about every established Path, I have had a interest in. Its greed, and speaks to the persons degree of ethics, not IMO the Path, they claimed to teach. After running across enoigh examples it becomes fairly obvious religion is a favorite field to hunt , for greedy people who are good at acting, and have a good memory.
Its the individual IMO, regardless if it is religion or used cars. People conduct themselves honestly or not. But money is a strong incentive for some people to do otherwise

IMO, also the unique feeling of being someone's guru/enlightened-master/baptised-teacher can be like a drug. So, it's not only monetary greed, it's also the self-gratifying pleasure which comes from having the disciple who believes in their guru which encourages the behavior.

Yes that too, likely more common than outright cons. In the west atleast that does seem very common.

I disqualify those things which do not have evidence or are not reasonable/possible (according to science) if they do not have evidence.
Until science has discovered and has a clear understanding of and can explain everything that appears in this reality, I won't disqualify anything for which science hasn't offered a reason to. To do otherwise is just being closed-minded.

Kundalini rising is not an issue if the person involved is well-disciplined, mentally equanimous and practice the yama niyamas ( rules and regulations ) or religious restraints well. He or she can easily channel the rising energy to higher states of consciousness. Some have experienced the nondual perception or samadhi due to this kundalini rising with its corresponding bliss and peace.

It becomes an issue if the person involved lacks these characteristics. This topic is important because I believe that many people in different religious paths with noble intentions unfortunately had a kundalini surge which they were unprepared for or had no understanding of, and had lapsed into sensory indulgence leading to lack of rectitude in prescribed conduct for them.

During meditation, suppress the emotional side altogether. This is a great source of danger. Those that are very emotional no doubt have their Kundalini rushing quickly upwards, but it is as quick to come down as to go up. And when it does come down, it leaves the devotee in a state of utter ruin. It is for this reason that Kirtanas and other auxiliaries to emotional development have a great drawback. It is true that by dancing and jumping, etc. through a momentary impulse, that power is made to course upwards, but it is never enduring.

On the contrary when it traces back its course, it rouses violent lust in the individual. Listening to my lectures in America, through temporary excitement many among the audience used to get into an ecstatic state, and some would even become motionless like statues. But on inquiry I afterwards found that many of them had an excess of the carnal instinct immediately after that state. But this happens simply owing to a lack of steady practice in meditation and concentration. ~ Swami Vivekananda

The soul or mind-stream (as per Buddhism) does not reside in the spine. Kundalini is considered to be a mass of energy located in the base of the spine, and which rises when stimulated consciously or serendipitously.
