“Islamic Fascism” is a very important book for the 21st century or any century for that matter. Abdel-Samad introduces the reader to Islam and shows how Islam has fascist elements built into it. The beginnings of fascism in Islam begin with Muhammad and get passed on down through the ages as seen in the thinking of Ibn Taymiyyah, Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, Hassan al-Banna, Sayyid Qtub, and numerous others. The religion of Islam is fascistic in the sense that it is a) supremacist b) expansionist and c) totalitarian (i.e., it seeks total control over a Muslim’s daily life and much of a non-Muslim’s life, so that the non-Muslims (dhimmis) live in a state of fear and insecurity, often experiencing violations of their human rights).

The Islamists (i.e., the by-the-book followers of Islam) believe that Muslims will one day rule the planet and that Sharia law will be the law of the land. This includes all lands, including America. At some point in the future, Islam will be the only religion left standing, and all other religions will either be subdued and humiliated under Islamic law or eliminated from the planet.

The insightful book could have gone more in depth into the “Andalusian paradise,” which is a modern myth as Abdel-Samad rightly notes. It also could have gone more in depth into the Crusades, which were a Christian response to centuries of Muslim aggression, something Abdel-Samad also notes, though maybe he’ll give these topics a more thorough treatment in a future book.

Having said that, “Islamic Fascism” does a great job at introducing the reader to a very important topic, one we’ll be seeing more of as the West continues to be strangled by civilizational exhaustion and political correctness. It is a wake-up-call of a book. Why? Because if the Islamists were to ever achieve political and military power, then it will be a sad day for the West—in short, for democracy, human rights, gays and lesbians, Jews and Christians, atheists, liberal Muslims, women, and just about everybody else who doesn’t toe the Islamist party line.

These are the facts. They are unpleasant facts but they are facts.

I disagree, although there as been a rise in the far right its a response to immigration, this also happened during the Enoch Powell era.
At the core British people are not fascist.

Disagree all you want, it makes no difference to the facts.

It's xenophobia, racism, nationalism, hatred of difference... Fascism.

Actually, at the core, many are fascist, they proved that in the recent elections.

Yes you can learn a lot from books then you start to sort out the ifs and conjecture and begin to realise you just paid towards a xenophobic, fear mongering, sensationalist authors luxury retirement fund.

Remember what i said about hatred??? His hatred of islasm is evident from the number of money spinning book with anti Islamic subject matter.

And what has this to do with France, as you claimed?

Hatred of Islam is not a crime yet.

I would rather hate an ideology than a person.

Some other people prefer to hate people that warn of the dangers of an ideology.

Borders or lack of borders.

I said yet, but we are on a slippery slope.

Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006

The Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which creates an offence in England and Wales of inciting hatred against a person on the grounds of their religion.More at Wikipedia

Long title:An Act to make provision about offences involving stirring up hatred against persons on racial or religious grounds.

Disagree all you want, it makes no difference to the facts.

Lets see those facts, big claims need evidence.

It's xenophobia, racism, nationalism, hatred of difference... Fascism.

Again proof required.

Actually, at the core, many are fascist, they proved that in the recent elections.

How did they prove it?.

Islam hates non-believers. Are Islamics being prosecuted for that?

Second reply. No Islam does not gate none believers, Islam hates apostates, as do most religions.

You are confusing the less then 0.6% of Islamic radicals with the other 99.4% of the Islamic population.

What? Prove what? The rise in cases of xenophobia, racism, nationalism, hatred of difference reported to pplice and prosecuted are facts.

So what proportion of the population are any of those,,
A pound to a penny its not the majority.

The main problem is religion and cultures, theres no integration and no attempt to integrate either which feeds a minority of the right wing and far left propaganda.

Correct, 37% is not a majority.

No, the main problem is xenophobia driving nationalism.
