The Universalist Approach To Atheism

I don't believe in Milda, a Baltic love Goddess.

I've nothing against love Goddesses. But, there's almost nothing on her, and she seems to have come around later, and was a possible attempt at creating an equivalent with the Greco-Roman deities.

Baltic culture just wasn't similar to Greek and Roman culture. Not at all. She's just not a sensible fit into the pantheon, when you're looking at the bigger picture...

I don't really believe in Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, but I might slip during critical moments.

Does anyone remember the British comedy series "Me Mammy"? The title character was a totally stereotyped and exaggerated Irish mother, who kept her son on a tight rein. She had a huge repertoire of saints, all made up for the series, that she would call on to help her. For example, when she was steaming open a letter addressed to her son, she called on "Saint Mucilus" for assistance. She would refer to any woman that showed interest in her son as "That trollop, she's totally naked under her clothes". Not PC, but very funny.

Having just come through a few weeks where everything seemed to go wrong in trivial ways, I'm starting to wonder about Loki.

Because sugar and salt need to be separated.
In my humble opinion.
Then you have never had a whole world of pickles. There are pickles that use sugar as a sweetener and salt. Just yesterday I made some quick red onion habanero pepper pickles.

I was a bit worried since it was my first time using a habanero. One red onion, one habanero, a couple of teaspoons of sugar, one of salt, 3/4 cup of vinegar and 1/4 cup of water. I threw a star anise, and a bay leaf in there too. Put everything except for the onions and habanero in a pot. Heat to boiling. Pour over the onions and peppers and shake well. Let it sit. After a bit I put it outside to cool. Just a slight heat. And super tasty. Had it on pork pibil.

I don't believe in a vast array of gods...any of'm....even as yet undiscovered gods.
Which gods don't you believe in?

Problem with your title of the thread. 'The Universalist Approach To Atheism' is only a Universalist approach by atheists that believe it is a Universalist Approach to Atheism. The same problem is faced by believers in the Roman Church that considers itself the Catholic (Universal) Church. It is only the Catholic Church by those that believe it is the Universal Church.

Far too circular an approach like the dog caught its tail.

Habeneros & garlic are wonderful too.
(Menards carries a fermented hot sauce version.)

My previous post stands a s ration response to your extreme ridicule of those that believe differently. Vaguely vailed joke does not negate a rational response.

Not really a joke. More like extreme ridicule sarcasm about the variation of human beliefs. This negate any universalist perspective. It is an extreme strike one sided atheist perspective.
