The Walking Dead

Just watched the first episode of season 5. Very satisfying. I'm glad they got out of Terminus. I was afraid the show runners were going to drag it out and have them spend the entire first half of this season in that rail car. That seems like their formula: excruciatingly slow first half, ridiculous amounts of action and drama in the second half.

Or maybe they're switching it up for season 5 and the next half will be slow. I don't know, but if they find a farm and Rick starts farming again I'm out.

Also, anyone else notice Daryl talking about Beth being taken in a car with a white cross painted on it? Saviors, perhaps?

I really wanted Rick to get his gun and go back and finish tose guys off. Seems to be a reoccuring theme now that leaving your crazy advesaries alive will no doubt make for a new season of cat and mouse......

Right? I think I remember hearing last season that Garreth was going to be a regular character this season so I was surprised they got out of Terminus so fast. That must mean they are going to cross paths again at some point.

What? Me worry?
Man? She's rail thin, but a hottie!

That double pointie stick thingie is a good interim substitute though.

Agreed. But this begs the question, why did the Terminus goons take her sword but not her scabbard? I really can't imagine even the dumbest bad guy sliding that Samurai slicer behind his belt.

They probably were just going to use it as a big turkey carving knife. No need for a scabbard.

It's a brand of ignorance I see in the world of collectibles.
People are attracted to what fascinates them, but don't appreciate
ancillary things. The sword is sharp, shiny, & slashy. The scabbard,
to an unknowing thug is just the thing that the sword is kept in.
If you ever have a valuable toy, never thow away the box. It's best
to never even open it. Just ask Sheldon.

I'd like to see a shirt with this.

My theory:
Bob was actually bitten in the flooded basement when he went under (hense his odd, emotional behavior,) so now the terminus crew gets infected from eating his leg.

Freethinker is right, though.

The virus sits dormant in everyone already, (kind of like the shingles virus in real life.) It just activates upon death.
