Tool - Reflection... yeah I forgot to pick another album after Ticks and Leeches.

Might listen to some Godspeed or Mogwai next, I'm in the Classical style Rock mood.

Tool - Rosetta Stoned... OMG this grows on me. It was written off a couple of months back. The Pot and Vicarious will never be anything more than average though :(
I liked Rosetta Stoned right off but now it's too crazy for me. Maybe it'll grow on me again. You never know with Tool Songs. I agree with the assessment of The Pot although I do like it a lot but VICARIOUS is a kick arse, amazing song. And the people I know here who like Tool think of it as one of the very best tracks if not the best track. Personal taste I guess huh?

Some random jazzy sax tune...........Morning!

Yeah, the guitaring leaves me flat, but the drumming is crazy and the baselines are "Phat"... yes Ashley, Chris just said "phat"... the lyrics just say "I'm stinkfist all over again" though... *makes gagging noises*

Personal taste it must be ;) (looks at his tool play counts, which collectively now exceed 500 in the last 8 weeks)

QotSA - Sky Is Falling, Hanging Tree, The Flow

What's up Ormi ;)

LOL....yeah, I'm not fond of that word either but it fits sometimes. How the hell else do you describe bass lines? Sometimes I just say 'big'.

If you're talking about Vicarious....I agree completely with you here. But, lyrics are usually my last consideration in liking a tune cos if you think about it, most lyrics are average anyway for any band.

:yes::yes::yes:

I ignore most lyrics, but it's so hard to when they're featured prominently in the mix of the album :( kinda why I'm into Wings and Rosetta... long, not so heavy on the lyrics.

Yeppers! I may have mentioned that I met her originally because I found out she had applied for a job in my neck of the woods. Well, she has an interview on Tuesday! She'll be coming down to stay with me a couple more nights and, if she gets the job, she'll be moving into the area. It's real hard not to get my hopes up. :)

Oh wow! That would be great! See, now I look at these kind of situations as fate intervening. Must be the romantic in me. Let us know if she gets the job.

Fate kind of scares me a little. :eek: I just wanted to go on a date. I didn't expect things to get deep. But, I'm a big boy and I don't mind. She's great and I'd be a fool to walk away now.

Sorry, I'm a girl and we all know girls get emo. ;) And girls love to work the romantic angle. We can't help it.

APC.............3 Libras
Now the lyrics in this one I like :)
