Listened to the whole Tool cd again on our drive down to my Dad's house. Our car has a great stereo system and the tracks sounded so good.....really high quality. :) First time I've heard it on speakers other than my computer. The bass is really thumpin' throughout most of the cd and I am in love with the drumming on Vicarious....Just my opinion though. :) I am still warming myself up to most of the albumn. It wasn't love at first site that's for sure. Jambi is good and parts of Wings for Marie are excellent. The timing throws me off a bit in those songs so I need to relax and just enjoy it for what it is.....which is a very unusual couple of tracks. Anyway...that's my current 2c on some new tunes. :D

APC - Package

You know....I don't think I have paid much attention to that track yet for some reason. I did read the lyrics you mentioned and they are quite sad and profound. I will give it a good listen to on the drive home.

Off to bed. Went golfing today and just finished a 4 hour game of Mexican dominoes with the whole family....:D

Night Chris :flower: See ya Monday. Be safe.

I don't know... I prefer their Stupid Dream album :p

Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream

Damn you guys post here way too much I post once every 30 pages or something :p

To be honest I have only heard the Deadwing album yet, so you're probably a bigger PT fan than me. Could you suggest a different album of theirs for me, seen the fact that for me: the heavier the better, and the more progressive the better (so rather no poppy song structures, the more complex the better)

Oh and since a while ago you commented that if Michel didn't like Tool he wouldn't like Black Metal, when I suggested him the Damnation album from Opeth, I guess you haven't heard that one yet, since it's fully progressive and with clean vocals. So you might want to check that out, along with Katatonia's "Last Fair Deal Gone Down".
