I've officially been sold on the Swans and Jarboe's solo work recently...

Not to mention the masses of black metal that have somehow found their way onto my iPod.

Jarboe - Disburden Disciple album

Some Kind of Strange
Silverchair - After All These Years

I know you're not too fond of this guy, Chris, but I really think you should give their latest album a listen.

One of my mate's a Silverchair freak. Got to listen to it a while back (music industry connections somewhere or other... apparently Wellington'[s a village. It is pretty much when it comes to the little Sub-communities)

Not my thing, but definitely well above their last two efforts. Shame about the fellow. He's gonna die real soon the way he's going. Cheers for the Rec.

If you haven't heard Swans Jeff, you might wanna try em out. They're up your alley.

Yeh? I'll check them out. I DID check out Jarboe. I really like the feel of the music, but I can't handle her voice for too long.

SITD - Snuff Machinery

Yeah it's pretty unsettling ay! I think so far my favourite album is Sacrificial Cake, but there's some other stuff I haven't heard yet. Swans is more guitar driven and she's only a backup vocalist.

I actually only got a few songs. My harddrive is practically full, so I can't really go about getting complete albums. So I have no idea which ones the songs I got were from.

The Swans - Blood Promise

Heh, try deleting some stuff. Hard disk performance and wear and tear on the moving parts get significantly WORSE once your disc is more than 75% full.

*sigh* I guess it's time to get rid of those 80 episodes of Bleach that I have on my computer.

How many Swans albums did you end up getting? And which one would you say you like the best?
