ChrisP, Revasser and Bastet reserve the right to kick your arse for the following:

- Posting Britney Spears/Jessica Simpson tracks (pictures are exempt) this has been updated to include pics of Britney
- Posting derogatory remarks about Pink Floyd and any member of Tool except the singer
- Posting derogatory remarks about any particular genre of music. There will be some leeway here for Rap.
- Demanding furballs for musical assistance! It's a pleasure not a chore!
- Not sharing. Sharing is caring.
- Wasting 4 pages of the thread with cussing. I'm looking at you 3 evildoers
- Referring to anyone except for Jimi Hendrix or John Bonham as "God" or "the Messiah". This is a religious forum. Show some respect!

And finally:

- Rocking out is Mandatory. No exceptions, no notes from your Mum.
Making deragatory remarks about Pink Floyd deserves more than a good beating. Britney Spears/Jessica Simpson songs also deserve a great beating. The only other person I would consider worthy of enough of being called god in the music world is Cliff Burton being the God of the bass. Which right now I am listening to Anestesia (Pulling Teeth). Definitly a great solo.

HAAA!!!!!

Chrissy is now going to listen to Tool's Vicarious with tissues in hand. We should have the virdict within 20minutes or so on if it's truely Tool-worthy... If not, Chris will probably not be the happiest of pandas....

If so, we'll have an extremely happy Chris. He'll probably be extra willing to dole out frubals as well as be a decent human being to some of us.

...we have yet to know...
:D Just listened... I'm a little disappointed... kinda what was expected with the whole "Meshuggah" thing but a little bit standard to be honest. The singer needs to learn when to stfu and let the guitar take the lead or we're gonna have an APC album with metal leanings.

Hopefully they follow their pattern of the lead single being the crappest track on the album or imma make my grumpy face >.<

You don't understand. Those rules don't apply to me. I'm... the godfather.

You neeeddda protection *waves hand in a not very threatening Parkinson-like manner*

If you don't give me furballs, you will wake up with a cow's head in your bed (we have had some financial problems as of late so we cannot afford horses, sorry)

Katatonia - Day

Btw, did anyone listen to the songs I posted that I made? Or is that prohibited too?

Btw, why aren't there any people here with bad musical taste? It would be so fun to bash Britney and 50 cent-lovers. There were tons of those on www.christianforums.com but I somehow got banned there :D .

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
still a classic!

Edit: Btw, I am using the term "btw" much too much.

Btw, when I say btw, I mean Blast the wookie!

And all you metal lovers, check out these songs that I made. They lack vocals, so if you have some program with which you can record vocals over an existing mp3, feel free to do so and send them back. Might give some funny results :D

Well, it's true that we in the South Pacific are especially suited to dealing out arse kickings.

Grave Digger - Rebellion (The Clans are Marching)

Listening to the album, Tunes of War

The vocals are definitely different. If I didn't know that was Maynard, I might think it another band 'cept for the guitars and drumming! ;) One of the other things I like about Tool is the timing count interruptions in their songs. Original and a hallmark of theirs.

I'll give 'er another go as well.......

Vicarious.................TOOL

Oh it's definitely that dick who sings over the top of all the good instrumentation with the mic... the drummer and the guitarist need to grab him and shake him... A good backhand wouldn't go astray either.

IMHO opinion the perfect amount of singing in a tool track is exemplified by...

Third Eye
Pu****
Refelection.

Lateralus.... maybe, but I actually like the lyrics (1 of the 2 I do like the lyrics of)... yes that's right. I'm a Tool freak who hates all but 2 of their songs' lyrics

Didja think it was rubbish too on first listen BC?... oh btw read the rules of this thread ;) Post #3957

I actually liked it first run through on the radio....:) Didn't like it as much the second time. And now it's growing on me again on the fourth listen. Is that weird?

And yes, I did read the rules. But I refuse to comply because Buttons and I are not mentioned in the hierarchy. :sarcastic
