Lyrics from tool Chrispy likes = Third Eye, Lateralus, Undertow, The Grudge and Aenema... I'm sick of his namby pamby touchy feely bs

Nah I get some of it, just wish it had been put a bit differently... and in a slightly less gay manner... makes it hard to get into with lyrics like:

"This body, holding me, reminding me that I am not alone in this body holding me feeling eternal all this pain is an illusion"... reading it back it doesn't sound TOOOOoooo bad, but when you hear him sing it... *gag*

Just dont listen to the lyrics....I still havent paid attention to them! I really, really like Vicarious now....sorry, but I do. I try to tune out Maynard. Maybe that's why I haven't listened to the lyrics.

Yeah...lots of songs do though. LIfe would suck without music. It's as essential as sex and food!

You know...I learned a long time ago when I get a new cd, to just listen without any expectations. To listen all the way through with an open mind, like you've never heard this band before. And to give the band the benefit of the doubt.

Anyway...just my approach to new tunes.
