Yes and I'm sure if a tree falls in the forest it only makes a sound if Chris is there to hear it! ;)

You guys are on this thread way too much!

It just took me 15 minutes to browse back to the last page where I had posted, I think it was more than 40 pages back :verymad: .

Yes yes they are. Ghost reveries drumming is pretty damn good too, but not my fav album vocal wise. I've got

Morningrise
My Arms, Your Hearse
Blackwater Park
Still Life
Deliverance
Ghost Reveries

Ghost Reveries drumming is pretty good but I don't like its production, it sounds a little too flat. But anyways, get Damnation and Orchid too (download them). Damnation is an excellent album to relax to, and Orchid is just excellent atmosphere (very resemblant to Morningrise, only a little worse production, and I also believe in most of it they took the first take they played of each part. It's still amazingly difficult to find mistakes though  ) and cough *get stoned while listening* cough. Funny enough, the albums you listed are all the albums I own too, the 2 others I downloaded and burned onto cds. I might buy Orchid though if I ever find it in a store, it's too good to only be owned burned, and its where this mighty band started, so it has sentimental value.

Bloodbath - Bathe in Blood (how lovely cliché :D )

If you don't know them, Bloodbath are a sideproject supergroup. I think they have an EP and 2 albums out, not sure. The album to get is Resurrection Through Carnage, it has Mikael on vocals, the Katatonia guitarists on guitars, and Dan Swano on drumming  . Talk about Death Metal bliss! And they play incredibly delicious cliché old school Death Metal, and even have the very cool old school fuzzy and raspy guitar tones and drumming sound. Be sure to download a couple of mp3s of them, just to hear Mikael sing in a different voice you're used to!

it is a little overprduced, but the drumming is excellent too... think it has more to trying to really break the international metal market.

I'll check out bloodbath now, if you want a copy of Orchid, I know of 5 just around wellington, so it can be arranged, but Amazon should have it anyway and that'll be cheaper :D
