You know...I learned a long time ago when I get a new cd, to just listen without any expectations. To listen all the way through with an open mind, like you've never heard this band before. And to give the band the benefit of the doubt.

Anyway...just my approach to new tunes. :)

Oh I did that... seriously did that. And I love that kind of metal... but it's just lacking in quality and thought. And vicariously just sounds so Poppy (in the commercial sense)

Ohhh, a Doom outfit. They seem to be pretty positively reviewed, too. What do you think of 'em?

The tracks average 10 minutes and pretty damn good. But I"m only up to track 2 of 4 on this CD :D I'll PM ya to let you know. Seem a bit like Bethlehem with progressive leanings if you've heard Bethlehem?

Asunder - Crown of Eyes.

Ever pick up that In the Woods. It's not for everyone, but some of my mates enjoy it.

Yeah, I've heard Bethlehem. I'll grab a couple of tracks from these guys and see what I think.

I'm really digging In the Woods. Omnio is awesome, and I've got Heart of the Ages on the way by mail as we speak.
