I may get negative frubals for this next comment but I find this version more superior to the Who's 60's release. Maybe it is becasue of Ann Margaret or that they let Jack Nicholson record a track I'm not sure, SO WHAT!!!!!

I have a CD with about 10 different versions of the Bob Dylan song. "Knockin' On Heaven's Door". Every now and then I like to listen to it just because it's interesting to hear all the different ways people have chosen to perform that song. I also think it's a great song.

You'd be surprised by who does the better versions of that song. It's not necessarily the people you would expect. Believe it or not, one of the best renditions on the CD is by Avril Levigne.
