If I were to see the world through your eyes, what would I see?
I’ll start.
If you were to look at the world through my lens, you would see a dystopia. The governments of the world collude together to wage war on its citizens. Everything in our life is manipulated and controlled by the state for the purpose of reducing our brain matter. A dystopia indeed! I am clinically paranoid and delusional, so I question whether I see reality for how it is or if my view is a result of my condition.
What about you? If I were to look through your lens, how would I see the world? Would it be a more optimistic vision?

People with their eyes half shut, mostly looking down. Connected to electricity. All looking through their own lenses, coloring as they go along, but not seeing the coloring of others. Occasionally, they stumble upon a crayon someone else has left, either getting exited because it looks good with theirs, or upset because it looks bad with theirs, but are seldom able to see the crayons for the colors themselves.

So distracted they are, they miss what's there, and the beauty naturally occurring, so eager are they to color their own pictures. It seems lonely... surrounded by people, but unaware they're there.

I see a fluffy, tree green vastness under a azure blue sky that smells of sweet, rain washed air... Then i wake up to.

At least 27 wars/armed conflicts, air pollution, climate change, inflation, unemployment, violence, theft...

Among which the vast majority of people struggle to get by, to earn/make enough to pay bills and eat real food, with some a choice must be made between one or the other.

Then there are some who are comfortable with their lot, they have the money or skill to keep their head above water.

And the very few who have more than enough.

I see everything that is wrong as the ending of the world as we know it. I also see the dawning of what people have longed for through history. In Eastern terms, the ending of the dark age (Kali Yuga) and the beginning of a golden age (Sat Yuga).

All the negativity that is obvious in the world today is part of the death process where that which is dying is fighting to prevent the new from being born. The darkness will end. Light will win. There are many words, images and songs that contribute to how I see what is going on. Here's just two:

The sorcerers and Kahens are winning right now. And probably would have sealed their victory were it not for Khomeini (q). Khomeini (q) complicated their and their gods calculations to say the least.

Madina was only reason Mecca was not destroyed, because believers there invited Mohammad (s) or else, Mecca would have been destroyed.

Khomeini (q) and Iranian revolution is a hope for Imam Mahdi (a). Maybe most of the cities and nations would have faced destruction or would be destined to were it not for it.

I believe the Islam Khomeini (q) and Khameini (h) inherited is full of problems, and it's hard to fix without causing chaos in divisions within Shiite and even over all Muslim community, and perhaps this is why they didn't restore many of it's laws, similar to how Haroun (a) didn't cause a war between bani-Israel but waited for Musa (a) to come back.

However - there is trajectory path we can fix the problems without causing hate and divisions and chaos. How we do it - matters.

And if we can fix Islam and promote the justice it originally taught, this might change things.

I know from a young age, there is a prophecy both forces light and dark have about me writing books that would harm Muslim scholars. I can do it two ways. One is I apostate and become a problem because of how well acquainted I am with Quran and hadiths. Another is I do it for "not following the footsteps of our forefathers", but bringing a better guidance with respect to Islam and do it in a peaceful harmony type way, that yes, shows our scholars failed us generation to generation, but that they did what they knew best, and not all of them failed us (some works in the past very close to my views are forgotten these says but were considered top scholars of their time for example Al-Tusi).

I was close to becoming a Kahen, but God saved me through his top forces (a) from that.

But I don't know if my heart will swerve away from truth or stick to it, my heart is full of dark thoughts all the time, and my living big sins are still rampaging my soul's world unfortunately. I got to fight harder and defeat the portals of darkness in my soul and defeat the sorcery, evil actions, and the evil companion from the Jinn that has overcome me so far.

I see a world dominated by one species with the capacity to change everything, but generally far too superstitious, insular and tribal to make all those changes for the better, rather than the worse. And therefore a species with not only the capacity to end its own existence, but a very real chance of doing so.

But I am also aware that some members of this species can be reached, and have the capacity to learn, once freed from their superstitions and tribal instincts, and that this (like all other things about our species) can be infectious and spread. I just don't seem to be able to see the means to get us there.

Let me give a couple of simple examples:
  • I care about whether we are endangering our whole planet because we cannot make its continued existence (for future generations) more important than profits. And I ask myself, what will those non-existent future generations spend those profits on?
  • I see a world where females, by their very nature, if they were educated and empowered, would nurture whole cultures to improved health and living conditions, but who are held back by males terrified that somebody might see their hair, or find them attractive, or of losing control over every aspect of their lives.
  • I see a world in which the moral thing, for me, is to try to give a lift to everyone who needs it, facing people want to squash them because they're afraid of who those in need might be sleeping with.
  • I see a world where building schools and laboratories would go a long, long way towards giving a glimmer of hope that we humans might have a future, but instead spending vast sums building shrines and temples to beings that they simultaneously believe have no need of such things, and could do it for themselves without effort anyway.
In other words, the world I see is a bit bleak, because human nature really is a confused mess of contradictions. A confused mess caused by our being a conflicted creature, social in our needs, selfish in our delusions, and gullible in what we're willing to believe.

I think so, even though we probably agree on the same basic facts.

  • The average person's risk of death by violence is lower now than at any point in human history.
  • Smallpox and polio have been almost entirely eradicated.
  • We've nearly eradicated death from famine.
  • Life expectancy is at an all-time high.
  • Infant mortality and death due to childbirth are at all-time lows.
  • We're doing better on democratic rights and gender equality than any point in history.
... and while we may have temporary ups and downs, in terms of the overall trend, we're improving on all of these fronts.

So overall, I'm pretty optimistic.

I see a world in which the biosphere is being denuded by humans. We're so up ourselves we don't really care unless or until it affects us. We've become a toxin for this world.
Have a nice day.

How do you feel about being able to glimpse into the spirit realm beyond the veil? I ask because if you looked at the world through my eyes, then that is what you would see. You would see earthbound human spirits, animal spirits, elemental spirits (nature sprites), tree spirits (wood nymphs), and have an occasional glimpse of an angelic being or demonic entity. You will also be aware of other non-human beings in close proximity. And if you are mentally attuned to your surroundings and know how to interact with the spirit world, then you can avoid unsavory supernatural beings like demonic entities, shadow people, and black-eyed children. If you could see the world through my eyes, then you would be a psychic medium who could communicate and interact with the dead, and you would be a sensitive who could feel the presence of spirits and other energy around you. You would also be an intuitive empath and a highly sensitive person (see here for clarification). Welcome to my world. Are you sure you want to view the world through my eyes?

I think it's probably better to be optimistic rather than to be pessimistic, but I do find myself very easily slipping into pessimism. But I think that maybe I am not sure about what exactly is happening out there, out there beyond my 'lens' of perception. And I am also not entirely sure, perhaps, about where each side of 'lens' starts and stops, in regards to where the 'border' is between my lens and me. For example, is my body a part of the world, or is my body a part of me? How about thoughts - do they enter me like radio signals, or do I generate most of them?

Ostensibly I can see dystopia out there, but I also can see the potential for harmony and joy etc. It looks to me like lives have been lived where hopes were fulfilled, great experiences had, and the overall experience was wonderful and worthwhile. I also seem to see useless conflict. In the past few days, they have been fighting around a large nuclear power plant in ukraine, for example. That seems dangerous, and seems like it doesn't have much historical precedent.

In my communications with the Tarot, I often seem to come up as being associated with the pentacle suit. So I think this describes either what I am all about, what I want to find or see, or possibly how I see things. Maybe it is all of that. But in any case, this is relevant because I am associated with the material world. I often post about nature, and see science as putting forth powerful laws, about what we can and can't do. But I know that the pentacle represents just 1/4 of what reality is, and that I should have faith in the other suits. The pentacle falls short, and only tells some of the story

For example, I think the material world can be sloppy and disgusting. The body itself is kind of gross - yesterday I think I threw up, because I ate expired blueberries in my oatmeal. Insects to me, are pretty gross. I see ants carrying around thoraxes, and peddling earthworm sections on the sidewalk. I drip with gross sweat when it is 90 degrees. Ok, there's all that, but at the same time, some parts of the material world seem to glitter with beauty. Outside, it is ostensibly the perfect summer day. It is in the 70's with blue skies and lush green plant growth

Different things that science can do, and that material does, seem fascinating and useful, and beautiful, despite grossness. A leftover bug thorax is gross, but a high resolution picture from nasa, showing the greater whole, is beautiful. A working machine, a space station, an automated system that does something for humans, a scientific process that does something useful, can all be materially impressive and greatly useful.

But the pentacle is only one suit. The others are far less materially grounded - the wands, the swords, and the cups. None of those other suits are actually about material, from what I can currently tell, and those other suits also pour their energy into the world. And when the materialism of the pentacles interacts with those other suits, I think illusions can be created, and flows of energy that you can't see materially exist. It is all somewhat complicated

It would look a bit out of focus till
you found my glasses.
Then you would notice you were
closer to ground level. Unless you are
under five ft tall.

Looking outside, you would see
the apartment buildings on the hillside,
the water of Repulse Bay, sailboats and
the beach. Might get a glimpse of " my" tokay
gecko on the patio.

Withal a nice place. No dystopia
or mind control here. Some pesky
commies but they .
don't control me.

Through my eyes and through my window this morning, you’d have seen that the sky was already light and the rooftops aglow, even at 5.30am. Beneath the window - I’m on the 5th floor - is the tree which, when filled with light, brings to mind the opening lines to this ee cummings poem;

I thank you God for most this amazing day.
For the leaping greenly spirit of trees. For the true blue dream of a sky
And for everything that is natural, that is infinite, that is Yes.

I let that thought settle into focus for a while, before noticing the cares and concerns of the day circling for attention. Try not to think about Liz Truss, Brexit, Ukraine, Yemen, the climate emergency, or any of the multitude of problems I can’t do anything about.

Go to work wishing I was going to Hampstead Ponds for a swim; think about being immersed in cool fresh water, as reflected sunlight dances under the trees. Arrive in noisy, shabby, dirty lovely Finsbury Park, think about Johnny Rotten, Anarchy for the U.K., the old Rainbow Theatre, the Ramones who played there 45 years ago, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, The George Robey pub, now a block of flats, and The Stranglers in 1977. Remember how deeply I love London, how lucky I am to live here, and how tough life is right now for so many of it’s inhabitants. Pray for tolerance, pray for peace, head in to work.

In one word - disappointment (so not optimistic at all) - perhaps influenced by my own life too, but probably as to what I see regarding human life in general. That we all could be so much more and better than we actually are.

But what we have instead is - where so many would rather live a life of pleasure and luxury than be involved in the many issues that make life not so enjoyable for so many others - but where these can so easily be dismissed. Where so many seem to think their precious beliefs override that of others, even to the point of dumbing down any knowledge they might be capable of having. For example - the Taliban - where their religious beliefs and/or culture as to freedoms seems to mainly revolve around males. Perhaps the Taliban are an easy example of progress meeting a brick wall, but no doubt so many others are so tied to the past in a similar manner. This of course applies to the many who are quite content apparently to take some religious text from the past as literal truth, and this being much the same as to delaying progress. Unless progress to some does mean decay rather than advancement. If so, then just stay in the past but don't inflict your beliefs on others!

As to the state being the enemy of the people - I'm not so enamoured with this point of view, or as to so much collusion between actors so as to manipulate us. I tend towards the cock-up theory of life - if there is a way for such to happen, it probably will. Such that we tend to makes a mess of things more naturally than as to being manipulated by those apparently in power over us. But I do blame one of our apparently most cherished accomplishments - Capitalism, and its associated blight, advertising - as to being more useful to those who profit from such than those who actually do the work. Hence my tendency towards Socialism, even if such is about as useful as much else. Perhaps we have become too large as to societies for anything to work properly ever again.

I do think we probably see reality via any condition or issue one might have, and even if I see myself as relatively free from such now (wasn't always the case), I do know that much in my past might have affected my views that will have developed - but the political tendencies have always been there, just making more sense to me. Much like my views as to religious beliefs.
