Don't do it for me. If I do survive death, I will haunt your entire church for eternity and I'll be far worse than Satan.
Leave my name out of your cult!
I can't block them from doing you, but if you really want it not done, you might talk to your local Stake President and hopefully you can withdraw from having it done without a lawsuit. As far as I know though it's perfectly legal. Also, I heard the Jews just asked us and we obliged.

History does not support life after death, NDEs and OBEs are very explainable scientifically, ESP has been very thoroughly debunked, and ID is not a scientific theory (as it begins with an assumption being true and seeks information to confirm it, and it is not falsifiable).

I disagree with all of that.

...The hard truth is, you are not certain your faith is true because you have determined it is true through evidence and reason; you are certain it is true because you have been TRAINED to believe it is true, and to behave as though it is true....

That must be comforting belief for atheists.

...I'm not saying atheists don't have their own issues with being trained in how to think. but, does the belief in God persist because it's is how we were trained to think?

I actually can believe that most, if not all “gods” have existed. I think the existence is not the meaningful question. Crucial thing is, what person is willing to keep as his god. I think everyone really has something as his god. For most the god seems to be fear, it rules them. If you want to know what you keep as your god, it can be seen by what you serve with your actions and words, is it fear, Father of Lies, or something else.

Bible tells God is love, I want to keep Bible God as my God, because He is good.

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
John 4:24

Not actually very comforting. One is left to their own to determine right, wrong and truth.

So God is the truth or standard one lives by?

Don't have a standard, don't know the truth. I guess I live according to what makes me happy. So I suppose you'd say happiness was my God.

They shouldn't do it to begin with. It's selfish, self centered, and goes against what the person believed in life.

Actually, they dont disagree with facts. Ive researched the facts.
There are no instances in recorded history where someone has returned to life to verify life after death exists, nor is there compelling evidence of communication with the dead. ESP has been very thoroughly debunked, and always they fail to perform under a controlled environment. OBEs and NDEs can be triggered in a lab.

Your sources that you get this from are very incomplete and infentile.
