Theists: Would You Welcome...

I don't believe in having places of worship. For me, I just don't see the point. That being said, I wouldn't mind if a person were to come to my house or something (being that it is the primary place of my interaction with God).

The closest thing I have to a place of worship is my UU church, and everyone is definitely welcome there. : )

We Baha'is always have and always will!

Indeed, Baha'i temples are intended as our gifts to the rest of the world, which is why no solely Baha'i activities are conducted in them.

I never knew that! That's very cool.

Considering my place of worship is my home....It depends. If I like the person as a person regardless of their religion/whatever....yes.

Personally I welcome all who are respectful to wherever I worship (which is everywhere!)

Some Hindu temples are open only to members of that tradition, or only to Hindus who were born to Indian Hindu parents (so no converts like me no matter how knowledgeable and devout we are). But many Hindus consider everyone to be a Hindu who believes in a Higher Power and life after death. If you don't, I'm sure you could go to a Hindu temple anyway, but I doubt you would get anything out of it.

LDS churches, as stated above, are open to all and Sacrament (communion) is open to all, even non-Christians as I understand it (but I could be wrong). Indeed, you have to attend two or more LDS services as a non-Mormon before being baptised.

Jain temples are open to all as long as you aren't wearing leather or other animal products and have washed your hands and brushed your teeth since last eating meat or eggs.

Baha'i temples are open to the public as are devotions wherever they are held. However, the 19-day feast is open to Baha'is only, unless it is a "unity feast". A unity feast is basically the same thing as a feast and non-Baha'is need only to inquire or be invited by a Baha'i in order for a feast to be declared a unity feast. Meetings of Local Spiritual Assemblies are open only to members of the Assembly (9 adult Baha'is). Baha'i activities are not open to "covenant breakers." But I don't know too much about covenant breaking other than that there are very few if any covenant breakers alive today.

Well, I don't have one, other than my home, ATM, but one of my criteria for choosing one is that it is open to all who are willing to learn, regardless of the knowledge they already have. (Otherwise, they probably wouldn't even let ME in! :p)

Well I consider my place of worship to simply be my body, but since no one can get inside that place of worship (hopefully  ) I would say im fine with anyone sharing space with me :D . But yeah, as long as a person stays respectful, as I would strive to be as well, then I have no problem with that.

I really enjoy visiting other places of worship. It's just kind of scary going by yourself. I think I'm going to go visit some other churches around my area, now that I think about it.

I think it is REALLY scary to go alone, but if I knew someone to go with, I would like to attend the worship services of almost every religion I can think of.

My atheist group welcomes people of all faiths to our drug-fuelled orgies. :p

(Actually, the only Taoist practice I engage in is tai chi, which is of course available to anyone.)

Yes anyone and everyone is welcome :)
Others may even pray there I believe.
Although there is probably going to be segregation between men and woman. But IDK might not.

Most definitely! I love learning about other faiths, and even more about learning how people integrate themselves into our faith but still keep some of the rituals/beliefs of their old religion. UUism wouldn't be nearly as interesting if we all believed the same thing.

Would you welcome people of other faiths to your place of worship? Why or why not?

I know I would. I believe that most faiths have more similarities than differences.

I would be delighted if more people wanted to learn about Kemetic Orthodox belief to that extent. It's not my place to invite them though. In Kemetic belief, the temple is the charge of the Priests alone.
