...so what would be your theme song? Do you have different theme songs for different occasions???

For me, my pimpin' theme song has to be JayZ's "Dirt off your shoulders"

I feel as though I answered this question already. Then it was the Piano Man by Billy Joel, but I'm not as introspective today. :D

This will be my new theme song, until I'm sick of it - of course.

Bob Sinclair - Love Generation

I also have one for you, jewscout. It's by a Canadian band composed mainly of Bosnian Jews. The lead singer is Silvija Zaradic, and here is her distinctly Sephardic version of Hava nagila!

Hava, nagila hava! Nagila hava! Nagila venis mecha!
Hava, naranena, hava, naranena, hava naranena, venis mecha!
Uru, uru achim, uru achim belev sameach!

Git' down with yo' Yiddish self, girlfriend. :D

i can imagine myself stalking round town with various Meatloaf tracks, maybe "objects in the rear view mirror" or "bat out of hell"

Disturbed's Down with The Sickness. I'm even going to get thier face logo with that phrase wrote around tattooed on my arm. I'm even going to get the new face that has a body tattooed on my fore-arm possible. Probably get it upside down, so it's rightside up when my fists are up at a concert.

Diana Ross--Theme from Mahogany--

(M. Masser/G. Goffin)

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?

Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?

Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies
That filled our minds
You knew how I loved you
But my spirit was free
Laughin' at the questions
That you once asked of me

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?

Now looking back at all we've planned
We let so many dreams
Just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long
Before we'll see
How sad the answers
To those questions can be

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?

Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?

Before My Time is Up by Roger Daltrey

Before the gods read my lifelong sentence
Before I get my share
Before I walk alone
Before they take away my last temptation
Before my heart's deprived
Before they call my name
On the back fences of my dream line,
I never lost my mind...I gave it all I had
To get away with the whole damn Big Bang
For the right reasons, for what you can't take back
Until the drums stop beating
Until the crossroads burn out
I ain't a man until I've done it all
Before my time is up
I'll hang my name
On every trial I'm due for
And even if I can't get justice
I'll take you down to hell before my time is up
I'll leave no stone unturned
I won't regret my actions
And even if my last words fail me,
I'll be a better man before my time is up
I believe that the road goes somewhere
Beyond the empty eyes...beyond the wasted land
When it all fades away to nothing,
I wanna know I tried to take a real hard stand
I gotta laugh at the whole damn Big bang
I've got to cry sometimes...got to love somebody
Before they read me my lifelong sentence
Before I get my share
Before I go alone
Until the drums stop beating
To where the crossroads burn out
I ain't a man until I've done it all
Before my time is up
I'll hang my name on every trial I'm due for
And even if I can't get justice
I'll take you down to hell before my time is up
I'll leave no stone unturned
I won't regret my actions
And even if my last words fail me ,
I'll be a better man before my time is up
Even if my last words fail me,
I'll be a better man before my time is up
Before my time is up
