I personally never liked the saying that there are no Atheists in fox holes as that is simply not true! My Grandpa is an Atheist and he proudly served in the Air Force as a Flight Engineer. He may not have spent any time in fox holes but he sure did spend some time in bombers doing some dangerous work like taking a flamed engine off of a wing.
