1.) Their feelings and hormones.
2.) Pragmatic reasons which "Seemed right to me!"
3.) The pressure of immediate circumstances which might make them "Feel uncomfortable as a woman ..."
4.) "I could not stop thinking about what my friends are saying!"
5.) "I was just trying to be nice!"
6.) "I thought that's what I was supposed to do!"
7.) "I didn't know what else to do!"
8.) "This is how it always has been done!"
9.) "I felt God was speaking to my heart!"
10.) "I didn't remember being told to do that!"

Are you sure these are supposed to only apply to women? Because I'm a man, but I'm guilty of pretty much all of those at one time or another, and I know (and know of) of plenty of men who are also such.

I also don't know how much value you'd take this information, but many of the authors of the Vedas were women. One of the greatest modern sages is a woman. So women are just as able as men to be spiritual leaders.

Not to mention, my girlfriend is actually far more masculine than I am.

My mother, Riverwolf, earned a reputation during her 35 years in business as being one of the most effective CEOs in her industry. At least I often heard that from her peers -- that is, other CEOS in her industry. I guess she must not have been much of woman, by Jinni's standards.

You are wrong. When a man wrestles with a woman, it is certain that the man will lose -- lose vital fluid.

And dear brother Sunstone

Actually, I agree with the OP. Women, being devoid of real leadership quality, will invite you to wrestle with them and then will milk out all of your vitality. Be very careful.

Try Romans 16 on for size. Paul lists Junia as an apostle and Phobe as a deaconess and patron of the church.

The religious text is out there. There have been plenty of women who would qualify as religious leaders but for some reason their writings are not in the cannon.

Throughout the first centuary AD, while Christanity was outlawed and or persicuted. Most churches were hidded, meeting in the homes. Very often in the home of widows, who as host became the defacto group leader, and can even be considered the earlist priests.

That's because the balls are in the cannon. Just ask any artillery officer...
