There are two Left-wings

There are two lefts. Dos derechas. Deux droites. Zwei Linken.
Both in the US and in Europe.
Hmmmm

There are no "city walls" around political ideas. There are just numerous strata occupied by many highly varied people. Life's rich tapestry as they say.
In conclusion I would say there are a vast number of lefts or just one that comes in many flavours. But never two, that is far to simplistic.

You do lean towards the crazies....
Putin, Trump, Kennedy, Carone.
Have you ever considered someone
more normal, eg, Vermin Supreme?

When this guy is the more sane option

There are two lefts. Dos derechas. Deux droites. Zwei Linken.
Both in the US and in Europe.

One is lounge-loving, yacht loving and is funded by George Soros, Schwab and similar individuals.
Defined by Tulsi Gabbard as an elitist cabal of warmongers.
They only care about LGBTs and sex and what links the two. They couldn't care less about the poor or the people in need.
They only care about sipping cocktails in a luxurious yacht while speaking of opera and of Caribbean Sea cruises...
They pretend to side with the people...but won't do anything about welfare programs, like universal healthcare.

The other is totally focused on easing people's lives. They try to make American people's life better. The Left of RFK Junior...and Tulsi Gabbard. Or Sanders.
They think wars are awful and destructive and think the money spent on war should be spent on universal healthcare instead. Or on other programs meant to improve all the social classes.

So which Left do you prefer? ;)

Well, there's the bourgeois, nominally liberal, pro-corporate faction - which was probably never really "left" at all, but compared to those on the right-wing, I guess they would seem "left." They're only "progressive" inasmuch as it boosts their corporate image, but I wouldn't trust it as genuine. Most of what this faction does is just some kind of sales gimmick, which is seen as phony and disingenuous. It's the "Barbie" left - manifested in plastic, vapid consumerism - devoid of any real substance or a genuine desire to make meaningful changes in society.

In the U.S., part of the problem faced by the left is that, for the most part, the political center in America has been more on the right. So, the left has had a portion which wanted to appear more moderate, in order to avoid being associated with the communist far left. They've been the pro-war, pro-corporate faction (i.e. Truman, LBJ, Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, Obama, etc.), and they've largely maintained control of the Democratic Party. While they may all have varying degrees of left-wing sympathies (more so in their youth), they tend to put forth a more moderate image so as to not alienate their corporate benefactors.

Not really, no.

I was doing a "what-if" mode of thinking involving anarchists.
"Anarchist" (as used by people who so identify)
seems to have no clear definition. They appear
to be a mix of anti-capitalists, violent malcontents,
& anti-government types.
Oddly, the anti-capitalists want a bigger government
to rein in business, which is the opposite of anarchism.

I swear it...you sound like Milei.
I speak Spanish...so I listen to Milei's speeches very often. ;)

It's the same old tune: that Neo-Keynesians want to persecute capitalists. And boycott their businesses.
The most simplistic argument ever.
And false, of course.
Because Neo-Keynesians love capitalists and do anything to facilitate their businesses through de-taxation.

But there's a huge unfathomable difference between small entrepreneurship and bankers who gain one million per day.
