In the past I have gotten cheap and nasty socks from Internet vendors but have found they soon disintegrate

I think that with socks you very much get what you pay for

Am wearing some more expensive ones right now

Light blue and loose fitting

I hate all feet including my own so socks are very important to me
I'm usually too lazy to put on socks.
But if it's really really cold...or if working
in sloppy conditions, then I'll wear'm.

I found the chart, and the appropriate size.

THey're a little pricy... do you find they last awhile? I'm willing to pay more if it'll last more than a few months.

Yes, very good quality, how long they last varies but usually i buy a new evey couple of years, i have 6 (or 7) so some are pretty old and still do the job.

The one i replaced was about 5 years old.

For me it's not price but fit. Most socks I find anymore, especially in stores, are made for a range of sizes with there only being two sizes to choose from. But neither one fits right or good. Amazon it's way easier to find the right size since so many stores and people sell on it.

The first socks that I bought from Amazon were crap, but then they were weird specialty socks I bought just for a kick. They were toe socks. You know like mittens and gloves for you hands? Floves?

EDIT: Not from Amazon, but you get the idea:

And for some reason these made me think of @JustGeorge :

I did not know that those things existed

I wonder who invented them and how the original prototype came to be

A long time ago, those would have matched my hair.

My rainbow hair was awesome. Stopped cars a few times.

But I was too naive to realize the message I was putting out there, and was looking for a boyfriend, not a girlfriend. After being directly told by a girl she'd been misled by the hair, I went back to blue.

I tried some of those on once. They are uncomfy.
You have to get them on right. And I probably should have spent a lot more money. I have read on some hiking forums on how they eliminate blistering for some. The ones I bought were on the cheap end, and I got what I paid for. The decent ones seem to run ten to twelve bucks a pair.

I can understand that. You have always seemed to have a very colorful personality and I thought it matched. I was not even thinking of the gay angle myself.

I love multi-colored hair. It's so pretty!

Same!

I've been doing pretty colors for 25 years! :D

Though I've been boring over the last year or so and have stuck with just blue.
I've done my hair black cherry, mermaid green, and pink. Always wanted to do a gradient. If it's not too weird to ask, would you be alright with showing off your colorful locks? If it is too weird, my apologies in advance.

Hit me up when I'm awake! :D

I look like I just rolled out of bed right now(because I did).

I personally faced a huge problem when my grandmother died, because she bought my underwear. And no adult man dares buy it for themselves. In public.

Thank god for online shopping where you can fake being a grandma buying underwear for her grandson.

I don't like shopping online for clothes because a lot of times the sellers completely botch it. You say medium, they send you a small. You say large in hopes of getting a medium, it's so large you could use it for a parachute. (No I have never bought undies online. Let alone parachute sized ones.) I prefer to just go in and try it on, less of a hassle.

Because of having uncommon preferences in clothing, I'm pretty stuck with online shopping. I've learned to take measurements and read size charts.

Not to say there's never an issue... I had some things tailor made last year(a common option on Indian clothing sites), and they took my largest measurement and cut everything to that size(ignoring the other measurements I'd sent them). The pants were so big the whole family could have fit into them!

My other option is to spend money on clothes I don't like, and that doesn't seem like a good idea. :D (I can be a picky one.)

When they say one size fits all, they really meant it!
