I guess I just struggle to understand why waist length would matter with hand-holding when one has bendy arms. I hold my granddaughter's hand and she's 1/3 my size.

How magas manage to never break the law.
I don't understand why people think they can use me as a lounge decoration. I demand royalties for every lamp sold,
I thought this said "mages."
But I suppose the most powerful ones can make laws bend to their will.
There is a film that has that very scene in "the colour of magic"
The two of them are taken to the edge of the Discworld by the ocean currents and nearly carried over, but they are caught by the Circumfence, a huge net built by the nation of Krull to catch sea life and flotsam washed in from the rest of the Discworld
