Thinking of religions and science as world views hides their light and makes them harmful

Maybe

You're views are fairly non-judgemental, so it makes sense why you'd take the inquisitive approach and why our views are similar. This is also why I like Buddhism.
I trying to see a case from multiple sides because if i get to onesided it will lead to judgment of others or my self. and as long i can stay away from direct judging and say similar to "you are totally wrong" i think it is for the better

Of all the things that people call “science,” what I think is beneficial is honest and responsible research, and reporting the results. Of all the things that people call “religion,” what I think is beneficial is honest and responsible learning, from religions stories and scriptures, how to live the best life we can.
Umm, but this is a worldview.
I didn’t explain that right. I want try to be sure that you understand the content, before I try again. The context for that is that I would like people to try not labeling views with the names of religions.

Maybe you can just call it spirituality then? or do you see that as a label too?

Oh by the way i got a thought here, what you wish to say is that you want to see it without use of Ego or self? Because those who have let go fully of Ego would end the use of labels all together and just see it for what it is.

@Amanaki @charlie sc I won’t try to answer any other questions until I’m sure that what I’m saying is clear to you, whether you agree with it or not. I won’t try to explain my reasons for what I’m saying until I’m sure that it’s clear to you what I’m saying. The what has to be clear, before I try to explain the why. What do you see me saying, that I would like people to try?

Sounds good and no worries.

I dunno, but it seems like to you have Baha motives and undertones. That's my opinion and I could be wrong

That isn’t the way I was thinking of it, but it might be a different way of saying the same thing. That gave me a new idea. From now on if I want to label a view, I’ll call it “current understanding of ...” some person’s views. Most I don’t think in terms of views at all. I’m only interested in understanding what each person is trying to say. For myself, I say “I think ...” or “It looks to me like ...” Sometimes I do say “in my current view ...”

Would you say your view is more of agnostic undertanding? Maybe i am wrong but it sound more like your view is not Baha`i but more agnostic

@Amanaki Can you just repeat back to me what I said that I would like people to try? :)
Honestly, this discussion has made me very uncertain what you really wish to achieve Jim, The only part where I saw we agree was when I said about letting go of the Ego or not use labels on beliefs. But I not sure this is what you really want to get across to us.

Okay, I’ll tell you what to say if you would like me to answer your questions. Type this sentence: “Jim, I see you saying that you would like people to try not putting religious labels on any views, and to try not calling any views ‘scientific’ or ‘unscientific.’”

If you can copy that sentence into a post to me, then I can answer your questions.

Nothing to be sorry about. If you’ve lost interest in understanding what I was trying to say, that’s okay. Or maybe I misunderstood, and you never really were interested in the first place. Either way, it’s okay, nothing to be sorry about. Everything I say is only for people who are interested. I can never be sure that no one will be interested in what I want to say,
