Yes.
It's wacky like that.
Tom

He's actually not too far off on a few things. I can't tell if he just went off the deep end or he's purposefully mocking conspiracy theories. The earth being flat is crazy. I think we established on another thread that it only started out flat and square, then evolved into the big blue ball.

Not any more crazy than believing that humans lived for hundreds of millions of years before eating a piece of bad fruit in God's side yard. A piece of fruit with supernatural powers stronger than Almighty God.
Now that's crazy.
Tom

I guess so if you think the fruit had power over God. It seemed to only effect Adam and Eve in my book. Then Adam died and left his bones behind for the archaeologists. A human, singular lived for millions of years, and his helpmate Eve.

According to Genesis, God was unable to prevent A&E from eating it and also unable to reverse the effects of eating it.
Of course, Genesis God wasn't as Almighty as Exodus God. Much less these newfangled Gods we have nowadays. Jesus can do anything.
Except give me a reason to believe that Saint Paul actually knew what he was talking about.

where does it say in Genesis that God tried to prevent Adam and Eve from eating the fruit, other than giving them the warning about what would happen if they did? Almighty doesn't mean God is obligated to do anything, very much the opposite.
