True morality does not come from a book, it comes from heart and mind, something atheist and theist are both born with. I don't need a religion to tell me the difference from right and wrong, because I have brain that I use for that.

Huh. Seems like whenever I assert this kind of morality, I get a wave of people telling me to prove it. Good to see someone else who gives credibility to their heart and mind.

Religion is a human creation, so naturally it will reflect man's schizophrenic character.

Too many people conflate religion with God.

Religion =/= God

People with good values typically have religions with good values. People with bad religions typically have bad values. And people raised in religions tend to acquire values similar to those religions, so it can be a cycle. Religion interests me to an extent because a person's religious views tell a lot about the person.

Some religions are evil, while others are not.
