Um... I think you're getting defensive, for some reason. I was relaying may experience. I sincerely believe anyone can be taught to think critically and use evidence based practice. The fact, however, is that many people aren't and don't, and they're the people I'm talking about.

Evidence is evidence. Interpretation of evidence is somewhat subjective, but if you lack the tools to do it yourself, it's sensible to find an expert who know's what their doing. Two different people can look at the same piece of evidence and come up with different interpretations, but, and this is important, there's a huge difference between differences of interpretation, and outright misrepresentations of, evidence.

If someone is a Trump supporter based on critical thinking and evidence, hey, good for them. I may disagree with them over subjectivity, but I'll not for an instant criticise them. What I DO criticise, is the people who, for whatever reason, support Trump UN critically. My post was a comment purely about them, and my own failure to reach them.
... and?

I was a hillary supporter but to the extent that it
based on facts and critical thinking, little was in her
favour.

I was, and still am utterly appalled by Trump.

Have you ever had an IQ test?
what does an IQ test have to do with the term "monkey f***ing a football"
Seems to me you need to get outside that bubble of yours. The term basically means:
"Energetic but useless action, or a person engaged in such action" (this was from Wiktionary) I can't express it without certain repercussion so I'll use theirs, however just look the term up to get various other definitions with varying explicit terms.

Found wide acceptance during the Vietnam War to describe certain decisions or actions.
One only has to see the comical act once to understand.

He is indeed appalling.
But the wise voter must consider the effects each candidate would have in office.
Sometimes the more appalling one will do less damage.
But many voters just choose based upon likeability, without much thought to
whether the likely result will comport with their own values & agendas.

For all I know, Trump will prove to have been
just the medicine.

The prophets who said he could not win are
the same ones saying he will bring doom.

As for likable..lets imagine, the cruise ship sinks,
and here you are alone, alone, all all alone
in a lifeboat with, take you pick, Trump of Hillary.

I don't think it's worth exerting energy over such a hypothesis

Anyway, not even the amount you took to say so?
I wont be go day dreaming about it, but

Of some note, as hard as anyone can try, it is tough
to get a really awful photo of trump, and hard not to with the H.

A great many who watch Fox are heavy into confirmation bias as they want to be told that they're cute little conservatives, which is why they agree with Trump's tax cuts that will balance the budget, prefer state's rights so Trump will eventually just allow himself to fade away quietly and let states take over, prefer libertarian approaches that puts sanctity on individual discernment and is reflected in his policies especially with Hispanics and Blacks, his many anti-war statements and demands for peaceful solutions especially in regards to North Korea and Iran, his pro-free trade stances that Republicans are well known for, his strong opposition to any kind of crony capitalism, etc.

You're only saying that because you're brainwashed by CNN and MSNBC to say that.

This all sounds pretty good to me.
To whom are you attributing it though?...this isn't clear.

OK, I'll play your childish game.
Answer: I don't remember.
I do remember taking the Navy's tests to determine what specialty, if any, one is suited for when one first goes in, then test to determine if one is qualified to advance to the next pay-grade (test only one aspect in making that determination). Then the FCC test for 1st Class Radio Telephone License with Radar endorsement. The the test for a Class B CDL.
That satisfies your childish complaint about conservatives not answering a simple question, or do you want additional information?
