....my only friend, the end".
...my dear friend ,
the end of night , the beginning of a new day.
the end of darkness, the beginning of daylight.
the end of confusions , the beginning of clarity.
the end of sorrows, the beginning of serenity.
the end of materialism , the beginning of spirituality.
the end of body consciousness, the beginning of soul consciousness.
the end of 'I'llness , the beginning of 'we'llness.
the end of devotion(bhakti) , the beginning of knowledge(gyan).
the end of adharm ( irreligiousness) , the beginning of swadharm( soul rule or religion).

Does that sound better ?

It is my opinion that The God has no end so if you will cling to The God, the real one, there will be no end to you.

It is interesting to have found out that Islam seems to teach that the whole universe will end. That means that there will be no air to breathe and nothing to stand on anywhere. If God is love and God is spirit, God can make you that way too. I think the only way God can do that is if you will let God do it.

To let God do it means that you must learn to let go. Let go of what? The wish for air to breathe and ground to stand on. You also must let go of the wish to be better than anyone else.

Just love the darkness of that particular Doors song...

It may be more useful to consider the end of one era and the beginning of another. Then to consider these changes as being more process than events. In that way the new age characterised by increasing global cooperation, seeing ourselves as one humanity, the equality of men and women, and dare I say the unity of religion as characteristics of the new era and colonialism, imperialism, nationalism, male domination, racism and religious exclusivity as part of the old era. In that sense at least some of the apocalypse has already happened.
You make sense here.
It appeals to my sense of reason as well as my spirit.
Good stuff.

the wheel of dharma turns. a revolution ensues. my favorite quote from the egyptian book of the coming forth by day.

The universe is drawn in circles. The memory of chariot wheels clacking across small stones foreshadows the asp's death as he wraps himself around the wheel. He is crushed by its embrace. The air crackles when Ra is within. And sailors who've known only cities by the sea and the whip of the rope and sail, come to moor at last amid a crush of flowers, and rejoice and weep and go on. The days before and the days after fill with the odor of pomegranates; the heart ripens like fruit and falls and breaks. Sweet meat for the lips of gods. On such a day one glances into the sky and finds the eye of Ra looks back. One finds loaves of bread on fine reed mats and the eye of Ra looks back. The air crackles. The sun beats on and on and on.

From The Egyptian Book of the Dead
translated by Normandi Ellis

all things rise and fall until they find balance. the haughty mountains are brought low and the lowly valleys are lifted up. love is not a respecter of outward differences.

in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Love changes everything.
good stuff thank you.

Not sure what you mean?
Sounds like you are saying the end may not be the end.
If it is a total annihilation of the whole planet, my answer is nothing.
However, i suspect there will be survivors.
And right after a world ending event, there is not going to much going on.

It's interesting to see the human individual's psychological anxiety about the fear of death be projected and manifested in various sociological and cultural ways.

The end spoken of in all religions is not physical only spiritual. It refers to a new manifestation of God who will bring new teachings and maybe add laws. This is clear in the words spoken above. Light is truth and the world is renewed with each prophet. All religions have seasons. Spring summer autumn winter. Winter is the end. Approx 250 years per season dependent on what is necessary. Gods in charge of that.

The end spoken in BKs is physical though not total annihilation but massive destruction , and we also say that The MahaBharath war is in reality the remembrance of this final war and this would be coupled with many natural calamities which would destroy and drown great regions of the earth.

The analogy of seasons which you mentioned is very good . The four seasons to us in some ways represent the four ages (Satyug ,Tretha, Dwapar and Kalyug), the Golden, Silver , Copper and Iron ages. Spring and summer are bright by themselves and do not require extra light ( guides) , autumn and winter need light and protection.
The first two represent the day of mankind , the root and trunk of the tree where there is unity and strength, and the rest two represent the night of mankind where there is diversity and differences.
And the old leaves of this human tree also fall off before a new spring , though the souls are eternal the bodies have to be shed.

We see each new religion as a new branch in this tree , and each branch has its leaves(followers) hanging on to it. It never happens when a new branch sprouts , leaves from the other branches fall off and cling to this new one . Yes , the fragrance of the new one can spread to others .

Even if for the sake of discussion, I agree that there is a complete spiritual renewal after each Prophet , there are many other corruptions which cannot be settled without the physical renewal of the earth.
1. The pollution of all the elements ,and the emptying of resources, how will only spiritual renewal fix this.?
2. The rate at which our populations are growing , image if we give 1000 more years to the Bahai faith , were would our numbers reach ?, Will this Earth of ours be able to both sustain and accommodate such huge number of people.?

The end is if the Earth is actually harmed so much that commerce is no longer possible. If commerce is made impossible, money will be worthless. Everyone will be the same.
