If pigs were "unclean" to eat, then why did Noah save them?

If you're serious, i'm not sure but if you are, the answer is really simple.

Just because we are instructed not to eat it doesn't mean its some sort of 'cursed' animal that we should treat badly or kill, or not be merciful to etc...

It's just like any other animal, only it's one of the many animals that we don't eat.

It is a >social< religious law not to eat pork...not a >spiritual< religious law.

Pork was far more difficult to keep/preserve than other meats, especially in the Mid East, it became "unclean"/contaminated very quickly...people would get sick/die from eating it and not know the cause.

Prohibition on eating pork was loving parental advice to those who would otherwise not know better.

If Noah didn't take it in the Ark, then essentially, Noah didn't kill or harm the pigs. But I understand what you're getting at, Badran.

I don't know if the Arabs contemporary to Muhammad's time, believers and non-believers sacrifice animals to their respective gods, so I am not sure if you can answer my next question. I would proabably be better off asking a Jew.

Did God also forbid sacrifice of pigs to him?

I know that sheeps and goats were sacrificed by the ancient Israelites, but I don't recall anything in the laws of Torah about sacrificing pigs. (I simply find laws (religious or civil) to be very boring, so I don't recall them that well.)

My point simply is that pigs are not 'evil' or bad animals that we should give special treatment, we're just instructed not eat them.

Pigs are god's creation just like anything else and we should treat it as such.

Yeah you're better off asking a Jew as i'm not sure. In Islam though, there is no concept of sacrificing animals in the form of giving gifts to god so to speak.

Unless you're going to eat the animal, there is no reason to kill it. Since we don't eat pigs, there would be no point in killing them in any form.

Because God has a plan for everything. Why did animals have the capability to eat meat when they were all originally vegetarians in the Garden of Eden? Because the almighty new that when Adam and Eve sinned then they will start eating meat. And the almighty new that one day pigs would be deemed clean when the purpose of the law was fulfilled.

Ok. That's understandable.

Even if pork can't be preserve it can still be eaten.

Instead of preserving the meat why not just not prepare it and cook it and eat the meat on the same day. Surely you won't die if you take the necessary precautions.

And clearly Jews and Muslims didn't remain confine in the Middle East so why don't they eat it now? They now have refrigerators and freezers and yet they follow a (religious) dietary laws that are no longer relevant.

I've never read anything saying they could be used, and I doubt they were.
Animals given for sacrifice were eaten by the priests.

For the same reason we don't eat cheeseburgers. Or lobsters.

I don't eat lobsters too. I used to, but I discover that I have mild allergy reactions to lobsters and crabs.

Modern Human Civilization has reached a Technological Stage…
where it Does NOT Exactly Require Animal Muscle Power…
…either for pulling your cart
or for being at your Dinner Party!

All you require for Continued Functioning of Your Physical Body & Mental Consciousness are…
Essential nutrient - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Essential fatty acid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Essential amino acid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vitamin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dietary mineral - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
&
these can be Manufactured & Supplied by ANY & ALL Governments…
at Fundamental Citizen Birth Right Rates…

If you are ‘fussy’ about ‘appearance’ & taste & aroma….it is NOT a big deal..to ADD these additions.

An Ascending Civilization…should ADMIRE Pigs & Prawns…and WATCH them in their Natural Habitats…

…and not…um…gulp…um….uh….Ah!

" MEDICAL ASPECT OF THE PROHIBITION

Abstention from eating pork is a measure to safeguard
health.Of all the domestic animals, pig is the most
avaricious, eating anything including human excreta. It is the
cradle of harmful germs and parasites. Its meat is carrier of
diseases to man, thus making it unfit for human consumption."

Why Pork is Prohibited in Islam

And clearly Jews and Muslims didn't remain confine in the Middle East so why don't they eat it now? They now have refrigerators and freezers and yet they follow a (religious) dietary laws that are no longer relevant.

I can only answer that from the biased perspective of a Baha’i-
The Major Faiths (like modern foods) come with a ‘Use By’ or ‘Best Before’ date stamped on them.;)
All remain nutritious (spiritually fulfilling)....but the social laws become out of date.
The ‘Social Laws/teachings’ are superseded, updated, renewed, revoked in each age in accordance with the needs/requirements of that age.
The ‘Spiritual laws/teachings’ remain constant through all the major faiths, they are reinvigorated and renewed and expanded upon...but essentially/at core the same.

The prohibition on eating pork was a practical law in it’s time...but as you point out those "religious dietary laws [] are no longer relevant".
They became "no longer relevant" in 1844...as William Miller (who had read the 'Use By' dates) predicted-

Perhaps on May 24, 1844, Samuel Morse ought have sent the first telegraph message as- "What hath God wrought?.......We can now eat pork!" ?:D
