This is probably the 5th or 6th day I've gotten onto RF after waking and scrolled through the "What's New" and thought....

Ugh.

None of these interest me at all.

I'm only clever enough to come up with my own threads once and awhile. So, I either revisit old threads, or (horror of horrors), find something else to do.

What new threads do you like seeing pop up?

I've been feeling the same way. Patiently waiting for something to pique my interest.

Quite often I'll look at new threads/posts and find nothing to interest me so i head for the jokes, scientific or eros threads.

There is usually something there to entertain me

Same, other than the Eros(not brave enough).

Sometimes I'll try to create something random to discuss, too.

What are some of the most memorable threads for you?

The ones I seem to be most involved in are those involving social policy, ethics and morals, value of a scientific approach to non-subjective questions, and providing rationale for my non-belief in the many forms of proffered creator entities.

Given that, even if such a topic arises and it is the same old folks delivering the same old arguments to each other, I find myself less inclined to engage or participate.

Before I respond to the poll, I need clarification on a poll choice.

"Pick apart a religion(your own or someone else's)" - I'm not a fan of picking apart one's religion per se, but I do like learning about particular aspects of religious (or any other, for that matter) belief and questioning people about why have such a belief. Would you consider this a "pick apart?"

I think if you take the negative feeling to 'pick apart' out of it, it could be considered such.

Most tend to think of picking apart in a negative light, but it doesn't have to be.

You can choose whether or not you feel it fits.

I don't really do politics threads

I find the Creationism ones riddled with stupidity and craziness

And Theism vs. Atheism don't interest me

But I do enjoy discussing religious things and miscellaneous topics

I think that it may be interesting to discuss some trivia about specific religions and creeds once in a while, as well as compare and contrast them.

What do you think this poll would look like if posted in the political forums?
