What does it mean to you? The way I learned it, is it's what pagans call it when specific Deities try to get your attention one way or another. Do you agree with this? Have you experienced it?

I've never heard the term before, but I don't see why a deity couldn't attract somebody's attention. I personally feel as though I was destined from birth to follow a particular path and that over the course of my life, various deities have nudged me towards it.

What did it feel like to you?

I know when I felt it, it seemed as if someone had smacked me upside the head ;)

I've never heard of that term either.

The only time I've truly felt like a deity/being was trying to get my attention was that crazy dream I posted about in the coven area.

I was freaked out for weeks, and couldn't stop thinking about it for months. I eventually forgot about it, and then out of nowhere it came back to me forever later and it was like a kick in the behind to get me back on track with my studies.

Well it wasn't physical persay, but I sure got the point. I showed my cousin my altar, where I keep my candles and statues and such, and I should have known she wouldn't understand it. I might mix Paganism and Christianity, but she does no such thing, and she laughed because she thought my statues looked funny. Well needless to say, when I tried to give a water liabation to Sekhmet later, my water bowl cracked, and I just knew Sekhmet was angry. I don't show outsiders my altar anymore.

Yes I have. One time I was waiting for a friend to get back from this job we where on and it was getting late. So I was walking around where we were working and a got mad, it was cold and icy and I don't know what compelled me to do so but I blamed the gods for something and the next thing I knew near some ice which I have pass a few times with no problem I slipped and fell and twist my wrist really bad.
So yeah ^_^
