The frubal system's basis in exponential growth is the system's flaw. At first, it works, but it builds incredible momentum over time. I think every post that is frubaled should equal 1 frubal, then there wouldn't be this exponential increase in frubal power. If we keep the exponential aspect of the frubal system in use...by tomorrow, we'll have people who have trillions of frubals, and we'll be in the same dilemma...trying to come up with new frubal labels and new ways to keep the badges from running off the screen...and then an hour later, we'll have people with quadrillions and yet again in the same dilemma. It makes no sense. If you've had 100 people frubal you in a lifetime, you should have 100 frubals.
1 person, 1 post, 1 frubal. Simple.

But under this system, the worth of each poster is equal, and this is clearly not the case. Some people are intelligent, some are humorous, some provide an interesting viewpoint, and some people... are none of these things.

Anyways! Might I, as a lowly peon in the whole posting and frubal commodities exchange make a suggestion.
Why not create a system of frubal VALUE. Its easy really. Just divide the number of Frubals acquired, by the poster's total number of posts. It would yield a RATIO, denoting the worth of a poster's posts.
This system would have several bonuses....
1. - A higher ratio would indicate that people like what this person has to say.
2. - Spammers would be graded low, regardless of quantity.
3. - It has the ability to fall
in the event of prolonged whimsy, the onset of dementia, etc...If people are touchy about their seniority status, or quantity of drivel produced.....No problem....we still have "Join Date":, and "Posts" listed in the upper right.
As for names in a religious forum......I was going to suggest various ranks of priests (i.e. congregation member, acolyte, adept, priest secondary, priest, imam, bishop, archbishop, ayatollah, etc....) But I rather like the whore line of thought, and it is more appropriate, especially for a ratio, rather than tracking the amount of hot gas in a person
. Plus, if you are using the ratio system I suggested, then you can easily apply a 'cost of the call-girl' set of names.Low ratio to high could be - - virgin, giving it away free, gutter tramp, cheap hooker (whore
), back street hooker, hooker, main street hooker, brothel girl, brothel girl in high demand, prostitute, house madam, city madam, the whore of babylon......As to the point (ratio) levels needed for each.....
.....I think that would require time with trial and error.

If a person deserves lots of frubals, they will get them. Why else would a person in this hypothetical system have little to no frubals other than the fact that people don't think they deserve them? Conversely, why else would a person in this system have many frubals other than the fact that many people do think they deserve them? The functioning of the system would remain operational. In fact, without the exponential factor, it would function much more smoothly and accurately.
Also, if we wanted to add another interesting dimension to the frubal system, we could also add a frubal-to-post ratio, which would be equal to posts divided by frubals. For example, someone who has 1000 posts and 100 frubals would have a frubal ratio of .10 or 10%.
