Do y'all get annoyed when Christians come in trying to explain your own holy scriptures to you? I see this happen all. the time. In discussions, in debates, it seems to happen a lot. I just know I'd get annoyed personally, but that's just me.

Or the reason why atheists say they don't believe in God is because they want to willfully sin and not be held accountable to God.

Yes that as well.

Edit. And of course the welcome comments that us atheists are going to hell

I have seen followers of almost all religious groups do this, and some atheists also do it in order to argue that only specific interpretations are correct and attack the religion in question from that angle. It strikes me as being more concerned with "winning" arguments than broadening one's understanding and perspective.

Agreed.
There's an irony in pushing back on fundamentalism and literal interpretations of ancient scripture in a way that leaves no room for individual nuance.

I rarely see that here. What I do see often is nonChristians lecturing Christians on how best to interpret their scriptures.

I tend not to argue about such things. I treat many religious writings as sacred and I do my best to absorb whatever strength, power, wisdom and beauty from them that I Will, regardless of the culture. I encourage others to commit to their path and practice their religion in whatever way is most in harmony with their own True Will, even if I disapprove of the spiritual-religious system (which is rare). Embrace your God(s) and interpret your scriptures in whatever way you Will… or create your own if that is what your heart screams out for.

It's helpful to look at the history of how this came about. At first it was Jews who believed Jesus to be the Jewish Messiah and debating about the meaning of the scriptures with fellow Jews who did not believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. This no doubt happens quite a bit amongst Jews when another Messianic candidate pops up and some believe him to be the Messiah and others do not.
However in the case of Jesus, the Jews who said Jesus is the Messiah were kicked out of Judaism and believing in Jesus for Jews these days seems to be pretty much banned if you want to remain in Judaism (even though of course believing in Jesus does not mean that a person stops being a Jew)
So anyway history is history and Christianity spread over the world and now the Gentiles as well as the Jewish Christians believe the same stuff about Jesus and how he fits in with what the Jewish scriptures say.
I guess it would be annoying for Jews but really just because the majority of Jews say (are told) the scriptures mean one thing that does not make them right just because they are the majority and the Christian Jews were kicked out.

Or how about being in such a religious minority on this forum that nobody knows what you believe until you tell them, and having to explain yourself again and again because different people read different posts. There's plenty of Jews, Hindus, Baha'is and atheists on this forum but I am the only Earthseed Shaper here. I even made a thread which I asked the entire community if there was anyone else like me on here. Crickets chirped until @The Hammer told me a resounding, "no." You guys at least have your communities, your DIRs, my theology and religion is so new that virtually nobody else practices it here.

Or how about being syncretic and the main part of your beliefs are from a religion in which half the members see the other half as outsiders.

That sounds interesting. I honestly don't know too much about what you believe, and your tag just says "Spiritual" so I don't exactly know what your syncretism relies on. But you've peeked my curiosity. Feel free to reply back to this and explain yourself further, or if you don't feel comfortable with that, you can DM me with your beliefs. People are fascinating and I like hearing about these sorts of things, and understand what makes people's brains tick.

Or an atheist trying to explain scriptures to Christians. But, I have to just be patient and loving. (or try to :) )
