To those who follow Joy of Satan and do the Dedicating your soul Ritual to Lucifer/Satan.

Just remember that you do not dedicate your soul to Lucifer. He does not want to your soul and nor does he buy them or anything like that. The ritual on JOS says that you use a razor or a needle to cut yourself to sign your name in blood… You should not have to cut yourself to show that you want to follow Lucifer. Does he really want you to do self-harm? No he does not. Why would he even want you to do self-harm? Self-harm is not healthy and it could lead to getting infections which is not safe.

When I was a beginner Satanist I discovered about Joy of Satan back in September or October 2012. Back when I was a beginner Satanist I didn’t really know what Satanism was about, and I am sure a lot of beginner Satanists don’t really know what Satanism is about especially if they never heard the names (Satan/Lucifer) like me. I remember doing the ritual to write my name in blood and I never really thought about writing my name in blood for anything. I am not sure what I thought when I was doing that kind of “ritual”. But years later in 2016 I learned that there is no need to cut yourself to use your blood for a ritual to follow or enter into the service of Lucifer.

Questions:
(1.) Can I perform the ritual more than once?
Answer: It does not matter because needing to cut yourself to do a ritual for Lucifer is not right.

(2.) I performed the ritual. I could barely get any blood on the paper, is the ritual still valid? Answer: Again it DOES NOT matter. Cutting yourself is not healthy.

(3.) I am under-age and my parents would cause me serious problems if they ever caught me doing a Satanic ritual.
Answer: Just be aware if you are living in a home with religious Followers of God. Make sure they do not catch you doing a Satanic Ritual because if they do some things could happen…
Like:
1. Forcing you to follow God.
2. Taking your ritual stuff away which is not right to taken someone else’s stuff away.
3. Taking you to a psychiatrist to get “checked” because you chose to follow Lucifer.
Those 3 that I did mention are a disrespects to religious freedom. Many Christians hate religious freedom and feel that all should worship God. Yes, we all do have the right to practice our own religion but to force it on others is wrong.

(4.) I am underage, living in a Christian home and my parents force me to go to church and participate in Christian sacraments. Can I still do the dedication? Will Satan be angry with me?
Answer: If you are underage and following Lucifer it is better safe to not say anything about following him. It can be hard to tell others that you follow Lucifer because they might freak out, you might possibly lose friends, and also they might not even want to ever be around you ever again.
Of course you can still perform a Dedication Ritual to Lucifer but AGAIN you DO NOT “NEED” to cut yourself to do a ritual for Lucifer. Lucifer DOES NOT allow self-harm. If you do not have any candles you can just draw an inverted pentagram on a piece of paper or it can drawn a on poster board and you can print a picture of Lucifer (if you can). When you do the Dedication Ritual just denounce God to never be your savior ever again IF you have worshiped God before.
Denounce all the evils of God. Denounce God, Jesus, and his Angels, show them that they are worthless and mean nothing to you. Show them that you will be a true follower of Lucifer. Show them that Lucifer will be your liberator and to free you from God’s slavery and to never want to enter God’s dominion.

Always remember that there are other ways to do a dedication to Lucifer.

The Lucifer of your internal universe could be vastly different than the Lucifer of another's internal universe. Whereas the Lucifer you experience might have no interest in "souls", the Lucifer another experiences (be it a god, an angel, a demon, etc) may have a deep, invested interest in them.

Bloodletting and other acts of drawing blood might be of profound significance to some other person's gods and spiritual-religious system, though you might decide that your own gods and spiritual-religious system are completely against those practices, even if you revere the same god(s).

I happen to find the act of drawing blood to be rather stimulating and euphoric, and feel it often makes a powerful statement. I have nothing against those who involve blood (whether their own or another's) in their rituals, nor do I have anything against the rituals themselves.

As far as the JoS... I don't think any could easily stay on this site since it's a hate group and they can't keep their mouths shut. I managed to get in a peek of their membership interactions over a few months in the past when doing some research on various Satanic sects, and it was mostly neo-nazi type of stuff straight up although they were more lax on the race part but god did they hate Jews more than anything else. They are pretty crazy.

I can't understand how the administration here suppressed the Order of Nine Angles, who has much to offer the Left Hand Path, Satanism and Luciferianism, but not the JoS who masquerade as a Satanic group but are nothing more than a Neo-Nazis hate group.

To me the power of ritual magic is the impact that it has on your mind. I would not be doing it to make some god happy.

I do a painful ritual where I go out in the cold severely under dressed. I walk barefoot in the snow. When I'm done, I feel very strong, like I can overcome any challenge, and thrive despite any setback. It's useful to do before there's an unusually difficult challenge. Something like a phd thesis defense, the final match in a martial arts tournament, a triatholon.

The ritual requires maturity and knowing yourself physically very well. You can't spend the time calculating how much longer until you get frostbite, you need a human spotter or an alarm clock to do that. "wake me in 10 minutes". I would tell minors to not do it. Or even most city-folk.

What exactly was suppressed here, do you know? Was it ONA members posting on the Forum or discussion of the ONA and its beliefs, practices, etc.? And what were the reasons? (I ask because I agree that the ONA has much to offer, so it's a shame that/if we can't discuss ONA-related matters on here) As a side point, are there any ONA adherents/practitioners still on here, do you know?

JOS does offer some legitimate information regarding Demonology, however beyond that, they are worthless. I used to like them, but then I realized how stupid everything there was. Maxine (the high priestess of the organization) claims to have literally sat down with Satan and spoke with him. The **** in there is clearly made up. Either she is a very, very high priestess, or she is a downright troll. I'm going to say that she is some combination of the two.

There are plenty other excellent sites regarding Satanism that are much more sane out there. By the way, JOS is far from a Nazi group.

Even though we cannot mention them on this thread. I may perhaps give my small opinions of them. Their philosophy of Satanism is complex, they are not really a hate based fascist group, they may perhaps use political roles for going undercover as all of us may know, I also theorize that they may use some politics for a number of reasons. For one thing they have more of the boldness then any other intellectual satanic organization.
