I don't get to answer the OP (not an Obama voter), but I find this interestingAs far as I can tell, he's doing exactly what I expected: being less evil than McCain might have been as far as I could tell.
Very well-put.He is doing only as much as Congress gives him. Same as all Presidents.
He's doing a little better than I expected of a president to the Right of Eisenhower.

The web site messed up..not to make excuses but he didn't exactly get help from the states.(the same states who want LESS government) I think in the long run after the kinks it will be successful and I spit in the faces of those who threw a what is that ? A wrench in the wheel?
By Jan 1 I am going to get insurance for my family of 4 under ACA ...And save money.
If I can not aquire what is considered affordable insurance under ACA I will tell the truth .So far I can not log in .
Fair enough keep us informed.
You might try this link and see what you can expect. No going to guarantee it will be totally valid but it is a start

I have done that. According to it insurance under ACA is mouth watering. We are self employed.
Prit much. :yes:I have no complaints, really, given the circumstances. My beefs are with the broken two-party system that is spending too much time playing politics instead of doing their ruddy jobs by making policy. It is beyond time for third parties to play a stronger role in this country, and with modern communications technology, there is absolutely no reason why they can't be viable players anymore. This groupthink party line crap is stagnating this country. And Kudos to Obama for managing it as well has he has. I don't envy the job.
Congratulations! and good luck! : hamster :Likewise, my wife is self-employed, and her coverage will vastly improve for the same premium she was paying before, which will help us a lot since she is now pregnant.
He is doing only as much as Congress gives him. Same as all Presidents.
Not too well. I wish he would have created a single payer system instead of the ACA.
Personally I think it needs to be cut more than that. I'd be interested in seeing how much the Republican Sequester has cut over all.I wish he had cut military spending by at least 10%.
I agree with the last past all the way. As far as getting out of the ME...well it takes time to get out of there but we do need to drawn down a little faster IMO.I wish he had really pulled us out of the military action in the middle east and attempted to block any further involvement in other countries.
Many initiatives were good..but could have been better. His green energy bills were weak at best.
IMO...big oil doesn't need any subsidies. There needs to be large scale subsidies that replace the big oil subsidies. At least for the next few years.
IMO he's done more and made more progress than any other President. Passing it nationally wouldn't have gone over very well in the SCOTUS. States are moving right along on the front...(Welcome NJ)...He should have done a lot more to try and get Marriage equality as a national law rather than a state one.
I see your point here. And I agree to an extent....but he's actually appointed more females and has been more diverse than any other....He should have appointed more female members to his cabinet, especially in his second term.

It's hard for me to gauge how he's doing, for two reasons. How's he doing and who should replace him when his term in office ends?
