Sorry, it seems that some people thought that the one who wrote this article is Prescott but the fact is that i used Prescott comment against Bush just to say that Bush is crap because i don't want to break any political rule in here. :D

If you checked the source given you will find out the one who wrote this article and his name is, David Ignatius and he is a writer in the Daily Star.

Thank you guys for your posts. :)

I'll go back to reply but i'm in a hurry now because i have some exams this week.

See you soon. :)

I find it hilarious, no one knows of the economic side of Fascism, the 'Jihadists' have never put forth corporatism as a political ideology. Something which is very integral to Fascist ideology itself.

I just think it's absolutely... horrific... for an American to not know as much as they can about the war on terror.
I just want to know what is so horrific about it? I personally don't want to know as much as I can because I think that what's going on IS horrific and I can't do anything about it! I tried to vote Bush out but OH WELL. I can't STAND to read about the war, it gives me a sick feeling, but I do pray for everyone involved.

Nevertheless there is what might be called a political problem affecting the Muslim world. In contrast to the heirs of some other non-Western traditions, including Hinduism, Shintoism and Buddhism, Islamic societies seem to have found it particularly hard to institutionalise divergences politically: authoritarian government, not to say Islamo-fascism, is the rule rather than the exception from Morocco to Pakistan.

What to do?

It happened that Muslims countries control most of the oil resources on earth.

That's why problems just keep coming from no where.

I find it so offensive to call any Muslim by such a thing, "Islamofascism"

Reason, and reason again
Well, if we're going to throw around definitions, I might as well state that our current president and his administration fit the term "fascists" nicely.

A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
I'm just waiting for the right man to come along and abolish Congress so we can "stop bipartisan bickering" and instead focus on getting things done, at the expense of our liberties. :p

Concerning Islamic fascism, I think the term works in two ways. One, it subtly informs us that all Muslims are bad, and two it tries to makes us think we are letting down our grandfathers by not engaging the same type of threat they faced 70 years ago.

The problem is, the majority of Muslims aren't "bad", and we're definately not fighting against Nazi Germany.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not fighting against Islamic fascists, just every form of terror-- and that includes our President and VP telling us that if you don't support their policies you are allowing another September 11th to happen. That's what I like to call the West's form of terrorism. :sarcastic

Edit- And to be fair, I'm against liberals using the same tactics. :p
