LGBT community: We are finally being accepted, let's not push it too far. Let's take a break and try to make this normal.

Oli London: Hold my crazy pills

Who is Oli London? YouTuber identifies as Korean after controversial surgery to look like BTS star

You can make this stuff up LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are aware that gender dysphoria is basically only a subset of body dysphoria which can lead to a lot of mental illness from anorexia to people not recognizing some of their limbs as theirs to obsession about plastic surgeries and the like. Body image and identity issues are as varied as humans themselves. The rules remain the same though. Don't mock people who suffer and have issues like these. In other word, don't be a dick.

Mock? Dude, I love this stuff. Best entertainment I have seen in years. Anxious to see how the left reacts to this and trying to see if there's a limit to this whole trans "whatever you want" thing.

Is deriving entertainment from other people's issues really something a nice person should do? Are you sure you are being respectful of the person in your article? I don't think so. I think you find amusing their problems and are enjoying what German calls "schadenfreude".

Well, its not like me telling them they are wrong is going to do make a difference. And they chose to go public with their issue, not sure your stance on this person in particular as to whether you think this is a mental illness or not but, is there a reason I should not derive entertainment from it? That is a genuine question

Mocking people for having mental issues on an internet forum and calling said issues "entertaining" is quite petty. It's something I would expect to see on some edgy subreddit, not in any actual discussion thread.

So you are saying this person has mental issues? Isn't that trans-phobic of you? Others seem to not have an issue with what this person is doing

He is indeed free to do what he wants with his own body and money. I'm not pointing out he has a mental issue in a disparaging way; I'm only doing so descriptively/neutrally. Dysphoria is a serious mental issue that causes a lot of suffering and should be treated instead of mocked or dismissed.

Transsexualism is more than just dysphoria. Dysphoria is a symptom of it, but not the only one (as dysphoria can be caused by other things). Otherwise, you're correct.

People gotta do what they gotta do.
When no one is harmed, I don't judge.
But I reserve the right to hypocritically be amused.

I wanted to say that if people do want to make fun of the left, there are better, less harmful ways than poking fun at trans people. I'm a Democrat, but I'll give an example:

This is one of the top Democrat people in Congress in the country, and he really did make these contradictory statements.

I genuinely wonder if a person who would accuse others of cultural appropriation would also accuse someone like London of ethnicity appropriation.
