William Tyndale wasn't executed for translating the Bible into English; this wasn't illegal in the Netherlands. He was executed for being a heretic. Most countries didn't have a ban on vernacular Bibles; England had it owing to previous political uprising associated with such translations.

And you forgot that the bar is called Korova milk bar. Which means cow in Russian... ;)
I've left out much, planning to spread
out the trivial facts. But your addition
is cromulent.

One version of A Clockwork Orange
was that Alex became a law abiding
citizen simply because he aged.
Maturity, not government coercion,
civilized him.

I still find myself calling milk moloko after all these years.
I used to ride a Velocette Enduro in the 70s.
I should'a kept it. It was my favorite motorcycle
I ever owned. Very British....but it ran reliably
anyway.

The problem is, as wiki notes, with the definition of muffin. The rhyme may not be referencing the food we now know as a muffin, but a crumpet.
That is possible. But we need to dig into the history of crumpet to bottom that out, and see whether the two were always distinct or not. Crumpets are good, in cold weather. I wonder if they exist in the US.

Some of the language in Dune is from Arabic.
I really like David Lynch's movie version.
Also the latest one.
