Trump 2024

"The total lack of action from virtually all of the '2024 GOP hopefuls' is pretty amazing," tweeted Donald Trump Jr., the President's eldest son, on Thursday. "They have a perfect platform to show that they're willing & able to fight but they will cower to the media mob instead. Don't worry @realDonaldTrump will fight & they can watch as usual!"

Think the GOP will drag Trump out for a second round?

I was kind of just trolling the left, but it seems the idea is being floated by the media.

If it's the same Trump that lost 2020, then really?!?!? What's the point? He's going to have to debate his conservative GOP peers all over again and do we really think his "tough guy, I'm always right, you're wrong" mantra will continue to work?

Personally, I don't care if he runs for 2024, but it would be a miscalculation to assume he'll have success.

Its certainly possible. I was just discussing that in the real world.

Biden* and the leftist ilk for 4 years just might make a good catalyst for Trump's re-entry into the White House after this new regime runs its course predictably leaving devastated people in its wake when all is said and done.

*Harris possible if Biden kicks the bucket during his tenure.

Well, he was close to winning this time. I think it took a great effort by the Democrats to defeat Trump. I wonder if the Democratic drive will remain for 4 years. I suspect a lot depends on Biden.

Sure, the democratic drive will remain if Trump runs.

Does the GOP want to risk that again?

We have four years to hear what comes out of Trump's mouth or more specifically, comes out of his twitter account. He's just going to keep reminding america why we voted him out.

I would believe other GOP candidates will use this against him in their debates... On how he lost even with the most votes for a GOP candidate in history.

I don't know why people think he might go to jail. They couldn't even remove him from office, they sure as hell won't be bringing charges against him, and for what? Bush got us into illegal wars and libs all of a sudden like him. He's not in prison, so why would Trump be?

That the Senate (hardly a court of law) would not convict a President who is of their party is hardly surprising. The Southern District of NY will likely bring Trump to a real court of law and would likely get a conviction. Because if they didn't have sufficient evidence for a case, they won't bring it.

Keep in mind, more people voted for him in 2020 than in 2016. A large part of the country still supports him.

Is it too soon to place bets on who his running mate will be?

That's the problem with Trump, he doesn't always lie, only most of the time. You can't even rely on him lying.

I "usually" find when his lips move lies come out. But correct, you cannot rely on it

Apparently, it is possible to bet on just about anything. Had a co-worker who won a bet on the day a state would be called for Biden.

Sounds like a long shot though. I'd imagine they'd give pretty good odds.

Well... We are speculating on 4 years in into the future.

This weighs on many things including the performance of Biden. And if Trump keeps his strategy and popularity.

I read a story recently about a guy who spent his life savings ($25k) betting on Trump winning the election. He's not too happy these days......and broke

Sounds like a foolish person -- and not just for the bet.
