Do you think Trump should have ran as a Democrat?
Probably not. The power the Clintons had among the Democrats would have made the primaries impossible for him. I guess he made the right choice.

Ok, then to answer your question, what happen was he probably decided he was more likely to win as a republican.
It's possible....just possible....that Trump might've been
currying favor with crony capitalists who could benefit him.

So you say he was only thinking about his New York connections when he was talking about how the war had ruined US image abroad also?
