So, the hyper-hysteria over Trump is calling a shovel a shovel? (I'll ignore the subliminal racism in your comment.)
I see a huge divide in evaluating politicians.....
For some, the Prez is a leader, idol, exemplar, father figure, ie, a person liked or hated for personal traits.
For others, his record in office is what matters, with the personal traits being largely irrelevant.
Bush certainly comes off better as a human being than Trump.
People who feel that strongly will prefer Bush, Obama, Oprah & other appealing personalities.
Looking at records though, a different picture emerges.....Trump (so far) isn't that bad...not really worst than Bush.
Let's look at some things which really matter (things he strongly influences)....
- No new wars started. (Of course, if he starts one, then he becomes a terrible president.)
- Tax reform with some positives, eg, phasing out spendy deductions for home interest & property taxes.
- Ditching the Obamacare penalty for not buying insurance.
- Rancor due to moving the Israeli embassy.
- Immigration reform....it's a work in progress, but heading in the direction of merit (like Canuckistan), but away from chains & lotteries looks good.
- His pi$$ing match with Kim Jong Un....the jury is out on whether this will turn out well or be the disaster of the decade.
- His management of departments & cabinets has been disorganized & lacking....we'll see where it leads.
- Doomsday predictions by opposition have failed to materialize: He's not Hitler. The press is still free.
Certainly, reasonable people can disagree about whether Trump's record is above or below average.
But I urge basing it upon what he effects in policy & government, not upon personality & personal flaws.
