I am not so sure about that. A war can be handy at times, especially if one is about to be impeached.

investment in U.S. Sour we ahead of time could be very profitable.Think of the oil
I watched the President on telly, explaining to the interviewer that the US receives much if not all of Saudi oil, and that he has to support huge companies like Lockheed and Boeing and many many thousands of US employees, and then he held his hands apart and open.
Venezuela has as much, if not more, oil, and has a failed government, so you can invade and annex it on "humanitarian" grounds. Everybody wins! (except the Venezuelans, obviously, who aren't Muslims unfortunately, but they are kinda brown, so that's OK)investment in U.S. Sour we ahead of time could be very profitable.
Won't matter. They left plenty of evidence that they were behind 9/11, and we invaded two other countries anywayI doubt the Saudi hit squad is so incompetent as to leave proof that they did it.
I had a Venezuelan roommate way back in my college days. I wonder how he is doing now. That was long before their troubles.Venezuela has as much, if not more, oil, and has a failed government, so you can invade and annex it on "humanitarian" grounds. Everybody wins! I got kind of sick of them during the World Cup in South Africa, to be honestI had a Venezuelan roommate way back in my college days. I wonder how he is doing now. That was long before their troubles.

Good point. Like being between a rock and a hardplace, we need oil to continue our lifestyle, so burning bridges is a little risky.
At the same time, we would like to start producing more oil at home.
...How about this; We use the murder of Khashoggi as a pretense to reduce 10% of our Saudi oil imports. And replace that 10% here in America for Americans -because that's kind of the trend we're looking for here.
At the same time, the Saudi's will stick with the West and not Russia, because as a group, we'd still be the bigger consumer even after dropping the 10%. Heck, might even be able to up it to 20% if anymore trouble comes up.
Maybe Trump will go greenBig investment to pump out that much oil. Who will pay, the taxpayer?

The price of oil is set at a global price. All we need are contractors, bank loans, and someone willing to hire Americans.
Could it be that any drilling on US or Canadian soil is typically stonewalled time and time again? We actually have more oil reserves under our own countries than Saudi Arabia that can be tapped and used.;
Could be, but at the moment America runs on Saudi oil
Dont do that, im drinking a glass of water before i go to sleep, i dont like soggy bed linen
