But enough for him not to get re-elected?.

No, it proves that the Biden's are suspected of shady dealings.Your link cites "suspected" not proven for Biden however by not allowing witnesses it seems Trump is guilty.
No. Witnesses would not have made a difference. The Senate was committed to whitewashing Trumps crimes and that is what they will do. Having witnesses might have swayed options against Trump, and the Republicans in Congress didn't want that. But even if there were witnesses, the Senate would have guaranteed anything damaging was kept out of the light and in back rooms.

They understand how that honest Republican politicians are all but nonexistent. This hopefully educated at least a small percentage of Trump suporters. What is it with the no-Trumper's that don't understand that there was no way the Dem's could find 2/3 of the Senators to vote guilty.
Not much chance of that. It might have given some push to people on the fence or that would have stayed home on election day though. They understand how that honest Republican politicians are all but nonexistent. This hopefully educated at l least a small percentage of Trump suporters.
Trump is guilty of what? Our P.O.T.U.S. took action in order to ensure U.S. foreign aid didn't get misappropriated; there's nothing criminal about wanting an investigation of how U.S. taxpayer dollars end up getting spent. .
No, that is not what he did.Trump is guilty of what? Our P.O.T.U.S. took action in order to ensure U.S. foreign aid didn't get misappropriated; there's nothing criminal about wanting an investigation of how U.S. taxpayer dollars end up getting spent. .
Then to prove no guilt why no witnesses?.

Impeachment isn't a criminal trial. It's a political process. Always has been and always will be. As it should be.In America, guilt must be proven rather than "not guilty" needs to be proven!
The testimony in the House was enough, but the Republicans claimed that was not enough and at the same time denied witnesses for the Senate trial. Blatant hypocrisy. Then to prove no guilt why no witnesses?.
So it was a waste of time?,the Dems would know it was so was it propaganda before the next election.

Yes and hopefully the Republicans will pay a price for this.Impeachment isn't a criminal trial. It's a political process. Always has been and always will be. As it should be.
Exactly.Excuse my ignorance of impeachment but if your not guilty as charged the witnesses shouldn't be a problem unless you are guilty.
Not really. Trump's guilt has become even more apparent and the fact that over 70% of the nation wanted to hear from witnesses and the Republicans voted no screams "cover-up". This action will almost certainly harm the Republicans in the upcoming election. They made the error of supporting a corrupt President and they are likely to pay a heavy price for it.
I'm afraid that the memory of voters is too short.Yes and hopefully the Republicans will pay a price for this.
They knew from the beginning that there was no chance of removal from office. That was never their goal, and it has nothing to do with whether or not the case was "open and shut".
The entire thing has been about airing the skeletons in Trump's closet, and I'm okay with that.
For perspective, this has been less of a waste of time than the endless Hillary investigations before the 2016 election.
