Trump supporters question Navajo Congressman's status as a legal citizen.

So... it looks like there could legitimately be Mexican citizens of Navajo ethnicity? II get it was an outrageous attack in thew OP, I'm just asking about a general type thing.
The problem with this logic is this. I don't know you but assuming you are white, how odd would it be for someone to stop you o the street just because you are white and asked you if you are here legally or not because you look German? So now take it a step further, would you think it is okay for you to ask a Black person if they are legal because they look African? So, the point is, just because you may look the same color skin as someone from another country should not give license for anyone else to harass you on the street asking you for your legal status.

Because they're not actually sovereign and are still subject to federal law.
I'm pretty sure the Seneca Nation around my parts are only subject to US oversight, by agreement, in exchange for Federal benefits.

Is this also true for the Navajo.

Also, how does dual citizenship effect the constitutionality of someone with this status being a government figure?

Suppose one with dual citizenship in the US and Russia wanted to run for a Senate seat?

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

What part of "I get it was an outrageous attack" confused you?
