I think both sides have their share of crazies who threaten violence. No question about that. I think they should investigate these voicemails and take them seriously, although it's entirely possible they could be fabricated. Or it could be just some drunken yahoo without any intention of carrying out the threat.

Yeah. I usually brush them off as nonsense. But, I wanted to provide some evidence that they are ludicrous. There are plenty of nutjobs on both sides of the political spectrum.

That is a pretty "out-there" conspiracy theory, but, of course, that would be terrible. There would have to be some pretty concrete evidence to even consider that as a possibility though.

Maybe so, but either way, they should make every effort to find the person or persons who made the call.

All of this is rather disturbing, actually. Are these just isolated occurrences, or are these harbingers of worse things to come?
